About the role


Apptega continues to expand on our innovative suite of Risk, Security, and Compliance, platform that enables MSSP/MDR to deliver differentiated offerings so they can drive growth, improve net retention, and margin.  Our Risk and Compliance offerings represent some of our most strategic areas of growth and we are seeking an experienced, passionate, and customer-focused Senior Product Manager that can build a differentiated and impactful roadmap that drives growth with our IPP. Ideal candidates will have Compliance & Security product background across GRC, SecOps and have worked for MDR/MSSP OR built software solutions for them.

What you'll be responsible for


You own the Apptega’s Assessment Management, Program Management, Risk and Third Party Risk capabilities.  Being a team leader across the business and keeping score by KPIs is part of the game.  Build out the Compliance and Risk strategy that aligns to Apptega’s multi-year vision and focus on our globally expanding Service Provider base.  Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support to ensure our offerings are world-class.  Leverage new technologies that accelerate our roadmap and create differentiation.  You will manage product vision through execution with engineering to deliver highly competitive and differentiated products.


What you'll do


     Defining the roadmap based on market data, voice of customer/partner, routes to market, to drive adoption and growth through our IPP

     Ability to map out strategy through execution by building a roadmap that has alignment with clearly outlined milestones that directly connect to customer value

     Leverage emerging technologies to help prototype, accelerate innovation, and drive new value for our customers.

     Own, prioritize, and maintain the development team’s product backlog, including definition of epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria

     Own Voice of Customer – be an expert in the customer (Service Provider and end customer) experience that drives requirements and service definitions to meet our customers where they need to be met

     Contribute to Pricing, Packaging, and Licensing to fuel growth, drive incremental value, and adoption

     Work with Product Marketing and Sales Operations to drive highly powerful enablement maximizing our impact to the market (and what you built)

     Work cross functionally with sales, marketing, engineering, operations and other functional teams to ensure alignment

     Perform product demos to internal stakeholders and customers

     Develop and manage a set of Metrics and KPIs that measures success and where to continue to invest

     Lead discussions cross functionally to drive synergies across the organizations.

     Maintain a deep understanding of the MDR/MSSP space, understanding how they deliver value, and how our offerings help them differentiate and grow.

     Own competitive analysis to ensure significant market differentiators.


Qualifications


     The successful candidate must have strong technology experience and be comfortable with authoring strong, differentiating requirements.

     Strong Compliance & Security domain experience across GRC, Security Operations/SOC, Managed Detection and Response (MDR) or equivalent.

     Demonstrated experience using AI/LLM and related technologies in planning through execution

     Ability to be forward-looking on trends/direction

     S/he will have 7+ years’ success with managing a product or service

     Experience in SaaS, Security or a combination thereof

     Experience in Network, Host and Cloud Technologies

     Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to both capture customer use cases and influence others internally and externally

     Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

     Able to determine viability of new products or services; Understands cross-functional requirements; Capable of writing and presenting a new product proposal.

     Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements

     Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion

     Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.

     Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions.


Qualifications

 

     An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business is highly preferred
