As a Senior Product Manager, you will conduct market research, manage the product roadmap, and ensure effective software delivery for enterprise clients in the roadside assistance sector.
HONK is transforming the towing and roadside assistance industry by turning high-stress automotive moments into seamless, brand-enhancing experiences. With the highest customer satisfaction scores in the industry and a continued commitment to digital innovation and excellence, HONK remains a trusted partner for some of the nation’s largest insurers, fleets, automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and retailers.
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll shape how fleet, rental, OEM, and logistics companies experience roadside assistance through software. You'll turn deep customer insights and market research into a clear product roadmap that extends HONK's platform beyond insurance into these adjacent markets. This outward-facing role requires building strong partnerships with enterprise clients while identifying the common mechanics that power dispatch and service delivery across all these verticals. Your roadmap will give our sales team the confidence to expand into new segments with a clear vision of what's coming next.
What you’ll do
- Conduct deep market research across fleet, rental, OEM, and logistics industries to identify shared problems and opportunities in roadside assistance and vehicle movement
- Build and maintain a multi-quarter product roadmap by synthesizing external market insights with internal stakeholder needs, timelines, and sales cycles
- Own end-to-end feature delivery from requirements through launch, partnering with Engineering, Network Operations, and Data teams to ship software that scales
- Serve as HONK's subject matter expert for these industries, educating internal teams on market dynamics while identifying business cases that unlock growth
- Test multiple product hypotheses simultaneously, moving quickly between opportunities while maintaining focus on validated customer needs
- Represent product at industry events and customer meetings, building relationships that inform our strategic direction in these verticals
What you’ll bring
- 6-10 years building B2B software for fleet, rental, OEM, logistics, or adjacent transportation industries
- Natural curiosity and enthusiasm for getting out of the office to learn from customers, attend industry events, and become a true domain expert
- Exceptional written communication skills to distill complex market insights and technical requirements into clear, actionable plans
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining strategic focus and momentum
- Experience interfacing directly with enterprise customers and translating their operational needs into software solutions
- Track record of shipping products that solve real business problems, not just features that check boxes
