Five9 is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Voice to lead the definition, development, and global expansion of Five9’s voice services portfolio. This individual will own end-to-end product lifecycle management for key capabilities including PSTN feature and coverage management, Number Reputation Management, STIR/SHAKEN, Branded Caller ID, phone number management automation, telephony analytics, SIP trunking, and IP network connectivity.
In this strategic role, you will shape the direction of our voice product offerings, drive cross-functional alignment, and deliver differentiated, high-impact solutions that support Five9’s continued growth and innovation. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Partners, Customers, Professional Services, third-party PSTN providers, and integration partners to define, execute, and scale Five9’s voice services globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the vision for best-in-class, market-leading voice product offerings tailored to Five9’s enterprise customers and service provider partners.
- Own the full product lifecycle for Five9 voice services—establishing market strategy, feature definition, positioning, and go-to-market execution across both direct-to-enterprise and Service Provider channels.
- Manage core telco components, including Long Distance services and number packaging, ensuring optimal cost, performance, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver product capabilities—collaborating closely with Product, Architecture, Engineering, Operations, GTM, Legal, and Finance teams.
- Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies, balancing short-term goals with long-term vision across voice, telco, and networking domains.
- Partner with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to deliver integrated, Five9-branded voice solutions for customers and resellers.
- Design innovative pricing models for voice features and capacity, aligning with customer needs, usage trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Create and maintain core Product Management deliverables including product requirements documents (PRDs), roadmaps, feature specifications, competitive analyses, and market positioning assets.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience working with Telephony/SIP Integrations, PSTN regulatory and Network services in a product management or business development role.
- 5+ years of working directly with PSTN carriers offers, processes and familiar with PSTN regulatory processes.
- 5+ years in a customer facing role.
- Strong understanding and experience with New Product Introduction and Management processes.
- Strong understanding of the product development process, lifecycle management and the requirements definition for success.
- Excellent written and presentation communication skills.
- Competitive benchmarking metrics and performance monitoring.
- Possesses “startup” mentality and ability drive new product success.
- Experience in and strong understanding of Contact Centers, Long Distance, Toll Free, DID Porting, RespOrg and WAN/Network Access services.
Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 50 mile radius of our San Ramon office. For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Ramon location, this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office.

Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
