Summary

As a Senior Product Manager, you will manage a Product Portfolio. Your tasks will include defining requirements, creating road maps, planning strategies, and managing pricing. You will also be responsible for identifying growth opportunities and networking. Your main objective will be to promote and grow the portfolio.

Business Overview
Novanta designs, manufactures, and markets machine vision, optical scanners, embedded RFID readers, high-precision customized subsystems, and optical subsystems.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with executives to create and execute a portfolio roadmap and strategies that drive growth.
  • Developing and executing product strategies to meet customer needs and business objective.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify customer needs and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and create user stories.

Requirements

  • Possess extensive experience in product management and a demonstrated success managing a portfolio to deliver growth.
  • Experience with precision medicine, In vitro diagnostics or medical devices.
  • Be data-driven and able to analyze metrics to make informed decisions about product portfolio.
  • Be able to lead through influence and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possess broad business acumen and a deep understanding of the organization's objectives.
  • Demonstrate excellent tactical decision-making capability, anticipating and resolving issues/roadblocks.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 30% travel

Compensation and Benefits

  • The base pay for this position is $162,380 to $223,272.50 per year depending on the geographic market.
  • Dependent on the position offered, annual bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.
