We are looking for a product leader who can own critical projects, drive results, and directly impact the business performance of a large-scale live service. In this role, you will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, analysts, and marketers to define, build, and launch features that delight millions of players every day.

What You'll Do:
  • Own the Product Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle for new features and optimizations, from initial concept and specification writing through to launch and post-launch analysis.

  • Design Features: Author clear and comprehensive product specifications, user stories, and wireframes to guide the development team.

  • Execute on Strategy: Partner with leadership to inform and execute the product strategy and roadmap for your area of focus, ensuring alignment with our core business goals.

  • Be Data-Driven: Define, monitor, and analyze core metrics and KPIs. Use a hypothesis-driven approach to design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to drive continuous improvement.

  • Lead a Cross-Functional Team: Collaborate daily with engineering, design, art, and data science to balance business objectives, player experience, and technical investment.

  • Be the Voice of the Player: Translate player feedback, community insights, and market analysis into actionable product requirements and innovative feature ideas.

  • Drive Results: Take full ownership of your features' performance, consistently tracking results against defined expectations and communicating outcomes to the broader team.

What You Bring:
  • Product Management Experience: 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in consumer-facing mobile apps, web, or game development.

  • Strong Product Sense: A proven ability to concept new feature ideas, understand the competitive market landscape, and deconstruct user-facing problems.

  • Analytical Acumen: Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; a natural curiosity for data and the ability to use it to make informed, high-impact decisions. Experience with SQL mandatory.

  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding written, oral, and presentation skills. You can effectively articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences, from small teams to senior leadership.

  • Execution and Organization: Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Collaborative Spirit: A team-first mentality, with experience interpreting community feedback and a passion for sharing insights that help other PMs grow.

  • Passion for Games: A genuine passion for games and crafting fun, compelling, and exciting user experiences.

  • Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
