The Senior Product Manager, Platform, will report to Senior Director, Product, Internal Platforms and Tools and be responsible for leading the design and execution of Progyny’s technology platform strategy and roadmap. You will collaborate closely with Client Implementation, Member & Provider Experience, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Engineering, Information Security and Product leads from other squads.  You will partner cross functionally to enable scalable technology solutions that drive all aspects of the business growth and support our clients, members, partners and internal stakeholders.    

What you’ll do...

  • Contribute to the product strategy for the responsible spaces, build and prioritize the product roadmap accordingly with support of product leadership.

  • Build rapport with key stakeholders across the organization to gather input for product capabilities and features and align product roadmap with them.  

  • Drive measurement plan and report on overall KPIs as well as performance of newly released features and functions.  

  • Engage in continuous discovery to learn and improve our technology platforms, based on technological trend, internal and external user input and evolving business need, and incorporate them in the product roadmap.

  • Partner with other product managers and engineering teams to migrate business processes and technology infrastructure to the next-gen technological platforms. 

About you… 

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management and software engineering

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, or business analytics field

  • Good understanding of technology platform products, such as Salesforce, AWS, GCP, PostgreSQL, to communicate fluently between business stakeholders and engineering teams.

  • Ability to prioritize competing opportunities, balance stakeholder needs with business priorities, drive trade-offs and align stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to quickly earn trust, establish rapport, and effectively collaborate with others

  • Resilient, innovative, results-oriented with a positive attitude. 

  • Exceptional team player who embraces ambiguity and takes initiative to anticipate and solve problems

  • Ability to make decisions using quantitative and qualitative data, articulate the decisions and drive alignment

  • Be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills, and attention to detail

  • Experience as a Product Owner with scrum or other agile methodologies and practices

  • Experience in healthcare is preferred, but not required  

  • Bonus: Experience managing large digital projects across multiple engineering squads

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $130,000 - $160,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
