About the Role - Are you passionate about building mission‑critical platforms that deliver massive savings every day? We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Offers & Discounting Platform who will lead the strategy and execution of Instacart’s discounting platform—responsible for managing hundreds of thousands of active offers and driving hundreds of millions in annual customer savings. You’ll own the full lifecycle of every offer—from creation and merchandising through real‑time application—crafting a world‑class platform that empowers retailers and internal teams to launch new offers in just a few clicks. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, data science, product design, marketing, and our retailer partners to shape the future of grocery commerce. About the Team - Our Platform team plays a pivotal role in driving innovation and scalability within Instacart's core ecommerce capabilities, including pricing, discounting, orders, invoicing, and loyalty. Our Mission is to enable all Instacart horizons and power our four-sided marketplace with a global, omni-channel platform. This platform accelerates innovation, ensures high transaction integrity, reduces risks like fraud, and seamlessly powers our support experiences. By focusing on shared services and infrastructure, the team accelerates value creation for multiple product and feature teams. About the Job 

  • Spearhead the vision and manage the roadmap and execution of the Discounting Platform that enables a diverse set of offer capabilities and saving opportunities for our customers, retail partners, and CPGs
  • Lead product planning, product & customer discovery, the product development process, effort estimation, and collaboration with teams across the organizationUtilize data analytics insights to guide strategic decisions and incorporate consumer behavior patterns into the evolution of our discounting platform and offer capabilities.
  • Drive forward strategy on all aspects of the Discounting platform - from offer creation & integration to offer merchandising and engagement - to deliver business impacts while influencing and driving alignment with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and successful execution
  • Examine the competitive landscape and customer feedback to help prioritize product development to address key customer needs while optimizing business impact
  • Intake & validate new ideas through a set of frameworks and drive them into implementable projects.
  • Advocate for building scalable and extensible platform capabilities with both internal and external stakeholders

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • Experience managing platform products and working in deeply technical domains with the ability to quickly ramp up when onboarding into new areas
  • Experience defining roadmap strategy and definition, with proven track record of end-to-end execution and negotiating tradeoffs
  • Experience partnering with technical audiences and “translating” to senior audiences across functions
  • Experience working with Engineering, Product, Design and Data Science teams to identify new roadmap opportunities and improvements
  • Ability to manage and align multiple stakeholders (both internal and external)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast paced startup environment and/or e-commerce platform
  • Fluent in API and web app technologies
  • Experience in influencing and building out multi year strategy
