Team Description:

Notifications is responsible for several of the company’s major product surface areas that drive a significant portion of Reddit’s user growth. You will work on building a real-time notifications platform (in-app, push, email, and potentially new channels) that can surface the right content to the right user at the right time in the right context. You will also be responsible for tackling difficult challenges around reach and addressability, off-platform conversion, new inventory development, and optimization of post-click experiences within a variety of operating systems and channels to build a delightful product for user engagement and retention. This role will partner closely with the Group Product Manager on the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and execute product vision and strategy for Notifications Engagement, focused on increasing the usage of our various channels via improvements to the value proposition for users and their retention. 
  • ​​Maintain and communicate a prioritized roadmap to support Notifications and company strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with developers and product managers to understand problems, capture new ideas and manage a prioritized backlog of requirements.
  • Participate in quarterly planning sessions to define initiatives, resolve dependencies and perform data-driven prioritization. 
  • Analyze feature/experiment results and communicate learnings to the team and the company.
  • Synthesize insights by analyzing data to help build more personalized and better product features.
  • Work closely with internal business, operations and partnerships teams in launching and maintaining features that impact Reddit’s growth.
  • Drive market and usability research to understand opportunities and develop strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management experience:
  • You have experience growing at-scale consumer products and understanding of growth via improved user experiences.
  • You have strong analytical skills, can build SQL queries from scratch and are able to solve complex problems by analyzing data, leading to data driven decisions.
  • You have proven experience developing long-term strategies and product roadmaps, setting OKRs, defining, running, and measuring experiments, and working collaboratively with peers from engineering, PM, data science, and other cross-functional teams.
  • You have a passion and drive for testing and learning at a fast pace.
  • You know how to define team goals and success metrics, and ensure that we are tracking towards improvements that align with Reddit's wider business objectives
  • You have exceptional independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with others and to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are a compelling influencer with great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to align a diverse group of stakeholders towards a common goal.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Consumer Growth and scaled experimentation.
  • Experience working on high-traffic consumer experience and/or ML-adjacent products.
  • UX / Mobile, Engineering and/or Data Science background.

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:
$190,800$276,100 USD
