Role overview
CarGurus is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the end-to-end consumer marketplace experience within our International Product team. As one of the fastest-growing areas of our business, this role offers a high-ownership opportunity to scale our global presence in a rapid, entrepreneurial environment.
In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of consumer needs and dealer success, uncovering high-impact opportunities in a fast-paced, unstructured environment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional experts to validate hypotheses, prioritize bold initiatives, and deliver products that grow the CarGurus business. What you'll do
  • Own the roadmap and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, consumer needs, and broader initiatives.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through rapid end-to-end cycles of ideation, design, development, launch, and optimization of innovative products and high-impact features.
  • Distill and decompose complex problems and business opportunities into product requirements and priorities, enabling clarity, focus, and iterative delivery and learning.
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Product Data Analytics teams to transform insights into actions
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other GTM stakeholders to launch, grow adoption of, and support new revenue-driving products and features
  • Continually analyze the impact of your teams' work on consumers and on the CarGurus business. Use data to inform and advance the success of our products.

What you'll bring
  • 5+ years of experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments working collaboratively with engineering, design, and analytics teams.
  • Previous experience launching and managing consumer products in high-ownership environments.
  • Highly curious, with the desire to learn rapidly, adapt quickly, and continuously improve.
  • A proven ownership mindset paired with the drive to lead a product area to success.
  • Demonstrated customer empathy with the ability to quickly understand a problem space.
  • Systems thinker who is comfortable creatively solving problems in unstructured, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams
  • The ability to effectively collaborate and partner with internal teams
  • Analytical, with a high level of data fluency

The displayed range represents the expected annual base salary / On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position. On-Target Earnings (OTE) is inclusive of base salary and on-target commission earnings, which applies exclusively to sales roles.
Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and other factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This annual base salary forms part of a comprehensive Total Rewards Package. In addition to benefits, this role may qualify for discretionary bonuses/incentives and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Position Pay Range
$140,000 - $175,000 USD
