About the Role
- Complex is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the strategy, roadmap, and optimization of our backoffice stack for Complex.com. This role will own all aspects of the backoffice domain, covering key areas such as authentication, user management, international compliance, and core services, along with catalog and product planning tool integration.
- You will also collaborate with supply chain operations to design internal tools that improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and measure performance metrics. Your efforts will be pivotal in delivering exceptional user experiences, growing our audience, and maximizing operational effectiveness.
- You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, supply chain and marketing teams to build impactful solutions for internal stakeholders - ensuring our supply chain, catalog, and planning teams can achieve revenue goals without compromising the user experience.
What You'll Do
- Own the Product Vision: Define and drive the strategic product vision and roadmap for backoffice services, including authentication, seller integration, logistics, and other core operations.
- Lead Product Development: Lead product development for all backoffice services and integrations, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals.
- Optimize Supply Chain: Partner with supply chain and sales teams to design tools and innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Enhance Backoffice Tech Stack: Streamline and modernize our backoffice tech stack by improving interoperability across catalog, planning, warehouse, and shipping tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across engineering, design, and business teams to deliver internal products that support stakeholder needs and optimize operations.
- Measure and Optimize: Use performance metrics and data-driven insights to evaluate product success, iterate quickly, and improve both engagement and revenue outcomes.
Who you are
- 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in a marketplace or e-commerce environment.
- Proven track record in building and scaling marketplace platforms that drive growth and revenue.
- Deep understanding of authentication, compliance, and international supply chain; familiarity with commerce and marketplace platforms.
- Experience with backoffice and core marketplace services. This includes shared services among multiple teams.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset, with a focus on leveraging analytics, KPI’s and performance metrics to make informed product decisions.
- Familiarity with modern product tools such as Jira, Tableau, Segment, or Google Analytics.
- A user-first mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business results.
