Chainlink is the industry-standard platform for providing access to real-world data, offchain computation, and secure cross-chain interoperability across any blockchain. Chainlink Labs helps power verifiable applications for banking, DeFi, global trade, and gaming by collaborating with some of the world’s largest financial institutions, notably Swift, DTCC, and ANZ. Chainlink Labs also works with top Web3 teams, including Aave, Compound, GMX, Maker, and Synthetix. Chainlink Labs was ranked in Newsweek’s 100 Most Loved Workplaces 2023 in both the United States and United Kingdom.

As a Product Manager for Blockchain Integrations, you will help identify integration needs on new chains and coordinate improvements in our tooling and stack. The goal is to accelerate Chainlink's integration speed, ensuring that we remain agile and responsive to the ever-evolving blockchain landscape. In this role, you will help with building integrator products that cater to both integrators and new & existing blockchain integrations. Given the technical nature of this role, the ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of blockchain integrations, coupled with the ability to  lead engineering teams effectively. They should also be adept at cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that product management and engineering teams work in harmony.

Your impact:

  • Deliver new integrations across various blockchains

  • Streamline the integration process by identifying key areas of improvement and strategies aiming to bring our integration speed down consistently

  • Oversee the development and enhancement of tools that cater to both integrators and blockchain integrations

  • Update our integrations factory to handle the complete integration lifecycle, including the ability to launch a diverse range of products and manage version updates and sunsets efficiently

  • Help develop and prioritize a long-term strategic integrations roadmap, ensuring Chainlink's continued growth and leadership in the space

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience

  • Technical background or deep technical understanding to collaborate with engineering effectively

  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology on a technical level

  • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly across different teams and have experience in client-facing or sales-facing roles given that this role will work closely with Go-To-Market (GTM) and blockchain partners

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and integrators (both internal today and external in the future)

  • Experience in developing or overseeing the development of tools that enhance the developer experience. In the case of this role, those developers are "integrators"

  • Ability to strategically look ahead and anticipate what's coming next, while also being nimble and quick to address pressing and urgent matters

  • Ability to guide, motivate, and manage teams, especially when overseeing multiple projects, is essential

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior knowledge or experience with Chainlink's products, tools, and integrations

  • Experience in managing the complete lifecycle of products or integrations, from inception to sunset

  • Ability to analyze and understand the competitive landscape, identify Chainlink's strengths and weaknesses compared to competitors, and provide insights that can inform product development and strategy

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
