About the Role:

Shape the Future of Identity and Core Platform at Camunda

Join us at the forefront of building Camunda’s next generation of process orchestration capabilities. In this role, you will define and drive the vision for our Identity components and contribute to the evolution of our core platform. As a senior product leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in making authentication, authorization, and user management seamless and secure across Camunda’s ecosystem.

This is a strategic, highly technical, and hands-on product role ideal for someone passionate about enabling platform scalability, governance, and enterprise-grade security. You’ll work closely with engineering and architecture teams to ensure our core platform not only meets today’s requirements but is built for extensibility and long-term success.

You’ll be responsible for delivering intuitive and robust identity experiences for both developers and enterprise administrators, helping customers orchestrate processes confidently and securely—whether they’re using Camunda in the cloud or on-premises

What you'll be doing:

  • Define market-driven vision, strategy, and product requirements focused on improving the Camunda product portfolio.

  • Manage community, customer, partner, and internal feedback with an emphasis on successfully driving innovation to improve data handling, identity and access management, and security across Camunda's product portfolio.

  • Fully evaluate and prioritize incoming feature requests

  • Keep the core Identity team equipped to work on the appropriate epics.

  • Continuous assessment of Camunda demand, market differentiation and the competitive landscape as well as close collaboration with our Pre-Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, and other Field teams.

What you bring:

  • Experience working on platform products (SaaS and/or on-prem) used by IT departments (e.g., developers, automation engineers, ops teams).

  • 5+ years product management experience in Enterprise software (e.g. knowledge about enterprise buying centers, subscription-based pricing model, enterprise software buying journey and sales cycles).

  • Experience of OKRs, customer research techniques, product design, Go-To-Market planning, backlog management, and working in Agile teams.

  • Technical knowledge of cloud-native applications, SaaS security concerns, identity, data and privacy concerns, SaaS infrastructure.

  • Strong communication skills - internally collaborating with others and externally presenting to customers.

  • Ability and/or willingness to use our product.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience and hands-on track record in the Identity management domain 

  • Experience working with platform products available both as SaaS and on-premises.

What We Have to Offer:

Compensation

We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition.

The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market. Final offers depend on skills, experience, and location, and we typically hire in the first half of the range to allow room for growth:

  • United States: $143,800 to $237,300

  • Germany: €92,900 to €153,700

  • United Kingdom: £90,300 to £148,500

  • Singapore: S$178,600 to S$267,900

If you’re based elsewhere, you’ll be hired via Remote.com (our global employer partner), and your Talent Acquisition Partner will provide a personalized Total Rewards Calculator after your first interview.

Equity: We also offer equity (where applicable) through our Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP).
