About the Job:

We are looking for an exceptional and user-obsessed Senior Product Manager to join our team and lead a large-scale, greenfield project from concept to launch. This role will be pivotal in shaping and launching a new marketing content creation application for financial advisors, powered by generative AI. The ideal candidate is a product builder at heart, deeply empathetic to user needs, and passionate about solving complex problems in the financial advisor space.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for a new generative AI-powered marketing content creation application for financial advisors, taking the product from a "0 to 1" state.
  • Conduct in-depth user research and market analysis to identify and champion the most critical user needs, ensuring that the product roadmap is laser-focused on solving the right problems.
  • Lead the product discovery process, gathering and ruthlessly prioritizing requirements from internal stakeholders and financial advisors based on data and user impact.
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable technical specifications and ensure the timely delivery of a high-quality application.
  • Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product and drive continuous optimization through A/B testing and user feedback.
  • Serve as the primary product owner for the application, managing the product roadmap, backlog, and user testing processes.
  • Effectively communicate the product vision and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including executives and financial advisors.

Skills/Experience you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully leading large, greenfield projects from concept to launch.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications in content creation and marketing. Minimum 1 year of experience in building AI products required.
  • A deep-seated user empathy and a passion for uncovering and solving their most pressing problems, with a demonstrated ability to translate user needs into product features.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to use data to drive decision-making and business impact. Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and A/B testing are required.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and navigate competing priorities.

Skills/Experience preferred:

  • Significant experience working in the financial advisor or wealth-tech space.
  • Experience working with marketing automation platforms, content management systems, or similar tools.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data-driven products or features.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile environments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to communicate via phone calls and/or video conferences (mainly for concierge and sales roles)

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, Rhode Island, Washington, and New York City residents* $135,500 to $180,000 + RSUs + benefits.

Salary at SmartAsset is determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the contiguous United States.
