Job Summary

We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead our enterprise AI video generation platform. In this role, you’ll transform our Moonvalley app into a world-class solution for Hollywood studios, creative agencies, and enterprise partners. You’ll operate at the intersection of AI, filmmaking, and VFX—balancing technical product development with direct customer engagement to drive adoption and innovation.

Product Leadership

  • Own the enterprise product roadmap and strategy for AI video generation

  • Lead development from concept to delivery with a small cross-functional team

  • Drive enterprise-differentiated features while leveraging our core AI model

Customer-Centric Development

  • Partner directly with Hollywood studios, agencies, and enterprise clients to capture requirements

  • Translate customer needs into actionable product features and specifications

  • Join sales calls and demos to showcase capabilities and gather feedback

  • Collaborate with client technical teams on integrations and pipelines

Technical Product Management

  • Explain model capabilities and generation parameters to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Configure and optimize AI model parameters (e.g., LoRAs) for enterprise use cases

  • Work closely with AI engineering to address limitations and improve model performance

  • Bridge AI research with real-world filmmaking and VFX applications

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with enterprise sales to support deal progression and customer success

  • Work with engineering to ensure technical feasibility and scalability

  • Collaborate with AI research and product teams to influence model development

What We’re Looking For

Product Management Excellence

  • 4+ years of product management experience with a proven record of shipping successful products

  • Experience working with enterprise customers and complex sales cycles

  • Strong execution skills with ability to drive projects end-to-end

  • Startup or high-growth experience is a plus

AI & Technical Acumen

  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts, especially video generation

  • Knowledge of model training, configuration, and customization (LoRAs, fine-tuning)

  • Ability to engage engineering teams in technical discussions

Communication & Leadership

  • Excellent communicator across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Comfortable presenting to executives and enterprise decision-makers

  • Skilled at leading cross-functional teams and aligning stakeholders

What we offer (compensation & benefits)

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • Private health coverage

  • Pension contribution (UK, Canada, US)

  • Unlimited paid vacation

  • Fully-distributed, async-first culture

  • Hardware setup of your choice

  • Stipends for phone, internet, and meals

In our team, we approach our work with the dedication similar to Olympic athletes. Anticipate occasional late nights and weekends dedicated to our mission. We understand this level of commitment may not suit everyone, and we openly communicate this expectation.

If you're motivated by deeply technical problems, a seemingly never-ending uphill battle and the opportunity to build (and own) a generational technology company, we can give you what you're looking for.

All business roles at Moonvalley are hybrid positions by default, with some fully remote depending on the job scope. We meet a few times every year, usually in London, UK or North America (LA, Toronto) as a company.

If you're excited about the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technology and help shape the future of media and entertainment, we encourage you to apply. We look forward to hearing from you!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
