About the Role:

The Senior Product Manager independently owns the strategy, multi-year roadmap, and business outcomes for core Over-The-Road (OTR) digital payments platforms and native mobile driver experiences across the commercial fleet ecosystem. As the line between digital platform strategy, payment rails, and mobile UX continues to blur, we are seeking a candidate who brings a hybrid mindset blending strong payment product execution with foundational mobile UX design thinking. In this role, you will lead the evolution of real-time spend capabilities, native mobile applications, and cardless payment features while leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate discovery. Working shoulder-to-shoulder with UX researchers, engineers, and commercial partners, you will serve as a true co-creator of the End-To-End (E2E) seamless user experiences across web and mobile touchpoints.

Key Qualifications & Skill Highlights:

  • B2B Payments & Digital Rails Strategy: Proven expertise in commercial card systems, real-time spend execution, virtual cards, or transaction settlement workflows.

  • Native Mobile & Omnichannel Experience: Track record of driving native iOS/Android product roadmaps, mobile wallet integrations, and delivering feature parity between desktop web portals and mobile driver applications.

  • Strategic Vision & Multi-Year Roadmap: Proven ability to establish long-term product strategy, translate company objectives into actionable roadmaps, and independently lead complex, end-to-end Go-To-Market execution.  

  • Evolving Product & UX Hybrid Mindset: Deep passion for product-led UX design, customer journey mapping, and mobile/web usability principles. Operates as an equal co-creator with UX design partners, bringing a design-thinking approach to interface refinement.  

  • AI Tooling & Workflow Innovation: Advanced proficiency in leveraging generative AI tools and AI-driven platforms to accelerate discovery, automate spec documentation, analyze complex behavioral patterns, and evaluate intelligent feature integrations.  

  • Advanced Data & Analytics Proficiency: Expert in using interactive analytics tools and executive dashboards to uncover deep insights, measure mobile/payment adoption, and drive continuous, data-informed iterations.  

  • Strategic Influence & Mentorship: Experienced in driving organizational alignment across business stakeholders, engineering, UX, and executive leadership. Proven capability in guiding and mentoring team members on product methodology and strategic execution.  

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, computer science, design, or a related field.  

  • 8+ years of professional experience, with specific experience leading outcomes for complex digital payment or mobile product initiatives.  

  • Demonstrated experience managing products across B2B payments, transaction processing, or mobile application ecosystems.

  • Demonstrated expertise in defining and leveraging product metrics to understand performance and deliver on strategic OKRs.  

  • Proven track record of close partnership with UX/UI design teams, integrating user-centered design directly into the product discovery lifecycle.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in business, product management, or computer science.

  • Direct experience with native mobile app lifecycle management (iOS/Android) and web-to-mobile workflow parity strategies.

  • Exposure to Over-The-Road (OTR) payments, commercial card systems, cardless fueling technologies, or fleet solutions domains.

  • Proven experience presenting to and influencing executive-level stakeholders.  

  • Agentic AI certification or hands-on AI-first product development experience.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
