The Senior Product Manager (Document Verification) will support the strategy, execution, and growth of Socure’s Document Verification (DocV) product — a critical part of our identity verification and fraud prevention portfolio. This role requires a technically minded individual with a strong understanding of document authentication, SDKs, and biometrics, along with a working knowledge of computer vision and digital identity infrastructure.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the product roadmap and drive ongoing initiatives that scale DocV globally. You will play a key role in shaping user experience (UX) and developer experience (DX) to ensure Socure’s SDKs are seamless, accessible, and highly performant across diverse markets.
This includes leading efforts to expand DocV’s SDK capabilities and digital ID interoperability, supporting the growth of mobile driver’s licenses (mDLs), EUDI Wallets, and other emerging digital identity ecosystems worldwide. The role also involves driving improvements to developer documentation, ensuring localization and compliance alignment, and enabling scalable integrations for both private and public sector customers.
What You'll DoProduct Execution & Roadmap Support:
Execute the product strategy and roadmap for Document Verification, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer needs, and industry developments.
Support efforts to scale DocV adoption globally, including in the public sector, financial services, and emerging markets.
Incorporate international document coverage, localization, and compliance requirements into the roadmap.
User & Developer Experience:
Collaborate with design, engineering, and developer relations to create an intuitive and high-quality UX for customers and a seamless DX for SDK integration.
Ensure documentation, sample code, and developer resources meet global standards of clarity, accessibility, and localization.
Technical Collaboration:
Partner with Engineering and Data Science to translate requirements into actionable tasks, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and seamless integrations.
Collaborate on models and services that account for international document formats, character sets, and identity frameworks.
Feature Prioritization:
Support prioritization of features and enhancements based on impact, feasibility, and customer feedback, ensuring timely delivery of improvements that address regional identity verification challenges.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Partner across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to align product development with go-to-market needs in diverse regions.
Customer Support & Enablement:
Engage directly with customers to gather feedback, assist with integrations, and ensure DocV effectively addresses global identity verification challenges.
Documentation & SDK Management:
Maintain and improve internal and external documentation for SDKs, integrations, APIs, and product capabilities.
Support international developer onboarding by ensuring documentation includes region-specific guidance and best practices
Analytics & Reporting:
Use SQL or analytical tools to monitor performance across global markets and inform product strategy with data-driven insights.
Go-To-Market Collaboration:
Work with Marketing and Sales to shape product messaging and support launches tailored to specific industries and regions.
Contribute to international regulatory responses, certification efforts, and RFP support related to digital identity programs.
Industry Awareness:
Stay informed about trends in document verification, SDK technology, and fraud prevention.
Develop expertise in global identity standards (e.g., ISO, ICAO, NIST, FIDO) and digital ID infrastructures such as eIDAS, Aadhaar, mobile driver’s licenses (mDL), and national digital identity programs.
Use this understanding to guide product strategy, interoperability, and compliance.
Experience: 4–6 years in product management or a related technical role, ideally within identity verification, fraud prevention, or computer vision-based products.
International Industry Knowledge: Experience with global identity verification markets, regulatory landscapes, and digital ID programs. Awareness of international document standards, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR), and localization needs.
Digital Identity Infrastructure Understanding: Familiarity with national ID frameworks, digital wallets, verifiable credentials, and how government and private-sector ecosystems interoperate.
SDK Familiarity: Understanding of mobile and web SDKs, integration processes, and differences between native and web environments.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of APIs, computer vision, OCR, or image processing. Experience with SQL or a coding language (Python, JavaScript, etc.) is a strong plus.
UX/DX Orientation: Passion for building exceptional user experiences and frictionless developer integrations.
Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate across technical and non-technical audiences.
Customer Focus: Experience supporting customers globally, capturing feedback, and translating insights into roadmap improvements.
Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach to decision-making and success measurement.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail in documentation and presentations.
