In this role, you will take ownership of select Home Opportunities from discovery through delivery, while also shaping key user-facing tools and experiences that support future Home Opportunities.

You will work with engineering, design, analytics, partnerships, operations, and fellow PMs to deliver product solutions that serve both partner needs and end-consumer expectations. This is a critical execution and foundation-building role that helps keep our growth roadmap moving during a period of rapid expansion.

This role reports to the Director of Consumer Product.

What You Will Do

Execute a set of priority Home Opportunities

  • Drive product discovery, requirements definition, and execution, delivering consumer experiences that help users save in new ways.
  • Translate partner requirements into clear consumer-facing product needs and collaborate with engineering and design to deliver high-quality, intuitive features.
  • Support scalable patterns and components that accelerate the delivery of future home opportunities.

Build Foundational Home Opportunity Features

  • Develop and deliver underlying tooling and experiences that help consumers evaluate longer-term home energy decisions to help them save.
  • Partner with data, intelligence, and design to turn complex energy concepts into simple, educational, and actionable consumer experiences.
  • Ensure these features complement and strengthen the near-term roadmap while also supporting future growth pathways.

Cross-Functional Planning & Alignment

  • Work closely with engineering, design, data, partnerships, and customer-facing teams to ensure clarity around priorities and dependencies for assigned work.
  • Help maintain strong cross-functional alignment as partner demand accelerates.
  • Communicate priorities, decisions, tradeoffs, and progress effectively to internal stakeholders.

Requirements
  • 5+ years Product Management experience shipping consumer-facing experiences (please note B2C or B2B2C experience is a hard requirement).
  • Experience driving cross-functional execution with engineering, design, analytics, external partners, and operations.
  • Familiarity with partner-integrated or partner-driven product requirements.
  • Desire to be part of a fast-moving culture with ambitious goals.
  • (Preferred) Background in engineering or design.
  • (Preferred) Experience building 0 to 1 products or features.
  • (Preferred) Experience building AI- or data-powered features.

Benefits

What You'll Get

  • A full-time position, with a competitive salary based on experience. The base salary for this role is: $160k - $210k.
  • Fully remote work environment with home office set-up allowance.
  • Real and lived work-life balance - Company perks include no pre-set vacation limits (with a top-down culture of taking meaningful PTO every year!), parental leave benefits, and a corporate value of working sustainably and putting families first.
  • Competitive benefits package that includes numerous health and wellness benefits.
  • 401(k) plan, with employer contributions to the same.
  • Opportunity to work with amazing people who are passionate about their mission, thriving in a fully-remote work environment, and learning and growing every day.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
