Job Overview

We are seeking a highly technical Senior Product Manager to help lead the evolution of our cloud infrastructure, observability, and developer experience platforms. In this role, you will own key product areas that power Relativity’s AI training, fine tuning, and inference workloads. You will partner closely with Engineering and cross functional stakeholders to translate complex infrastructure needs into scalable, reliable, and developer friendly platform capabilities.
This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives in technical domains, values strong execution, and is motivated by improving developer productivity and infrastructure efficiency at scale.

Job Description and Requirements

Product Vision

Enable a resilient, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure that supports Relativity One’s AI capabilities—making advanced AI workloads reliable, cost‑effective, and easy for internal teams and partners to adopt.

Mission

Empower Internal Engineering, Partner Developers, and AI Research teams through a cloud‑native infrastructure ecosystem. The platform will optimize performance and cost efficiency, provide strong tenant isolation, and deliver a consistent, high‑quality developer experience for building and operating AI workloads.

The Role

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own a defined portion of our cloud and AI infrastructure portfolio. You will work at the intersection of product strategy and execution—driving discovery, defining roadmaps, and partnering with engineering teams to deliver high‑impact capabilities that scale to production.

You will focus on turning strategic direction into tangible outcomes, ensuring that infrastructure capabilities are reliable, observable, and easy to consume by developers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmapping: Own and evolve the roadmap for assigned cloud infrastructure and AI platform capabilities. Clearly articulate product goals, priorities, and tradeoffs, grounded in customer and developer needs.

  • Technical Partnership & Delivery: Partner closely with Engineering to define product requirements for scalable, cloud‑native systems. Translate complex technical constraints into clear, actionable stories that support iterative delivery.

  • Developer Experience Ownership: Drive improvements to the end‑to‑end developer experience for infrastructure consumers. Identify friction points, define standards and APIs, and contribute to enablement artifacts such as documentation‑as‑code, guides, and samples.

  • Data‑Driven Decision Making:Define and track key product metrics related to adoption, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Use data and customer feedback to inform prioritization and measure success.

  • Cross‑FunctionalCollaboration: Work effectively with stakeholders across Engineering, Security, Finance, and Product to align priorities and deliver cohesive platform capabilities.

  • Adoption & Enablement: Support rollout and adoption of infrastructure capabilities by internal teams and partners through clear communication, documentation, and feedback loops.

Who You Are

  • Experienced Product Manager: You have a strong track record delivering platform or infrastructure products and are comfortable owning complex problem spaces from discovery through delivery.

  • Technically Fluent: You can engage in technical discussions around cloud infrastructure, AI workloads, performance, and reliability, and partner effectively with senior engineers and architects.

  • Execution‑Focused and Outcome‑Driven: You define success through measurable outcomes—improving developer productivity, system reliability, and platform adoption.

  • Clear Communicator: You can explain complex technical concepts to a wide range of audiences and build alignment across cross‑functional teams.

Technical Skills & Tools

  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and AI/ML infrastructure patterns across compute, storage, and networking.

  • Product & Collaboration Tools: Experience using tools such as Git/GitHub, Markdown, analytics platforms, and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Productboard).

  • Product Practices: Familiarity with cloud‑native development practices, feature management, experimentation, and iterative delivery.

  • Observability & Operations: Familiarity with modern observability concepts and practices, including metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, and service‑level indicators. Experience partnering with engineering teams to improve system visibility, incident response, and operational feedback loops in cloud‑native environments.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
