RevenueCat removes the headaches of building and scaling in‑app subscriptions. Since graduating from YC’s S18 batch we’ve grown into the default monetization platform for mobile: we’re in >40% of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $12B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo dev in Brazil to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.

We’re a remote‑first crew of 150+, spread across 25+ countries, and guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance. If you want your work to touch hundreds of millions of end‑users (and help the developers behind them get paid), you’ll fit right in.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy for our Analytics and Experiments products.

We need a producty-engineer or an engineering-y product person to set lead the product vision in a highly technical and analytics-heavy domain.

RevenueCat is the monetization engine for 40% of the new subscription apps shipped and the number of apps shipped is growing exponentially. We are uniquely position not only to give individual developer impactful information into the performance of their own apps, but also deliver truly unique data and insight given our position in the market; we know what good looks like, and we can not only put numbers in context, but give specific recommendations on metrics to target, experiments to run and anomalies to investigate.

We can, and should, be opinionated about what RevenueCat’s developers should try next to help them make more money. We’re building the “Make More Money Machine”. This role in Analytics & Experiments, is the engine that powers that machine.

You will oversee all of the Analytics products at RevenueCat - our charts, benchmarking, dashboard, and predictive LTV - and our experiments infrastructure, including custom targeting, A/B testing, rollout management, and experiment design (onboarding, landing pages, pricing, targeting etc).

You'll partner directly with leadership, collaborate across engineering and data teams, and act as the primary driver for how our customers understand and grow their revenue.

About You

Skills & Experience

  • You have 5+ years of product management or technical product engineering experience or analytics experience, with meaningful time shipping complex products.

  • You’re analytical. You can’t do your job without data platform access. You are highly proficient in SQL (or similar tools); whatever tool you need to know, you’ll learn. You love getting deep on the data analysis on your own. You’re experienced in developing robust and scalable metrics.

  • You are technical. Coding is not a core requirement for this role, being able to prototype with code is (using your preferred AI stack). You can deeply understand how RevenueCat works; what is simple and what is complex within our domain. Maybe you haven’t built and shipped a mobile app yourself (yet) but you have enough knowledge to work closely and independently with highly technical folks. You can discuss APIs, data models, and risk logic with engineering partners and enjoy diving into system details

  • You’re an excellent communicator. You can express complex ideas clearly and succinctly; written and verbal, synchronous and asynchronous, across timezones and mediums. You can get your point across.

Values and Abilities

  • You act like an owner. You roll up your sleeves, dive into the logs, and get something done yourself.

  • You thrive in ambiguity. You are comfortable making low-information, high-stakes decisions. You can quickly get to confidence, move on, and iterate.

  • You're a systems thinker. You can step back from a specific customer request and see the broader system. You build things that scale.

  • You're deep on the details. You care about what users experience, not just what the data says.

  • You know when it's good enough. You are obsessed with getting things right, but you know when you're at diminishing returns. You have a bias toward shipping. You love building and are energized by discovery, experimentation, and rapid iteration.

  • You’re passionate about great data visualization. Chart sins grind your gears. Your visualizations deliver meaningful insights. You care what is says, and what it looks like, and you know those things are dependent on each other.

What You'll Do
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for RevenueCat's Analytics and Experiments products.

  • Be obsessed with your customers. You will triage and investigate complex data and analytics problems deeply, instead of fully delegating to engineering. Dig deep to understand what developers really want; distill signal from noise and good ideas from bad ones. Dig deep into what the growth team really want - the challenges they face - designing and running great experiments, understanding results, and implementing insights.

  • Recommend, develop and maintain new benchmarks and metrics that deliver value to our developers, and help them make more money. Be the go-to person when a number looks off.

  • Set the vision. Create a plan that is cohesive, intentional, and impactful. Break that down into meaningful chunks on a reasonable timeline.

  • Get it done. Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and GTM teams to bring robust analytics and experimentation tools to market. This is a cross-functional effort across almost of RevenueCat’s most critical user-facing products: Funnels, Paywalls, Experiments and more. This job can not be done alone, and will require deep understanding of the individual products and the infrastructure that hooks them together.

What we offer:
  • Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator

  • 10-year window to exercise vested equity options

  • Fully remote and flexible work environment

  • 4-5 weeks of suggested time off annually for mental, physical, and emotional recharge

  • $2,000 USD for workspace setup and $1,000 USD annual stipend for continuous learning

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
