Essential Responsibilities:
- Customer and market needs: Understand and prioritize customer needs and monitor market landscape to inform the product strategy.
- Strategic thinking and communication: Translate customer needs into product requirements and roadmaps for existing or new products, which incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams.
- Drive execution: Manage teams to develop products through development, regulatory clearance, and commercial release.
- Product evaluation: Test the product with customers and analyze product feedback.
- Measure success: Define product metrics and analyze progress against those metrics to measure the success of the product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of product management, clinical support, and/or advanced diagnostic imaging experience or equivalent in a technology and/or healthcare setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS/MBA.
- Experience as a sonographer, preferably cardiac.
- Experience with product management methodologies including techniques for identifying customer needs, effective roadmap planning, and data analysis.
- Customer-centric, hypothesis-driven with a bias for action - designs experiments to test out hypotheses and learns from customers.
- Actively seek multiple perspectives and viewpoints to inform an analysis.
- Strong interpersonal skills and can communicate ideas effectively.
- Demonstrated an entrepreneurial bias in work or hobbies and are excited at the prospect of joining a growing part of a healthcare leader.
- Experience with any of the following: medical imaging in cardiology, vascular, lung, or abdominal ultrasound or complex software systems.
- Experience conducting clinical validation of medical devices a plus.
- Familiarity with medical device regulatory processes required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 or similar software.
Eligibility Requirements:
- This position is based in the United States only. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE HealthCare may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
