As Senior Product Manager, Research Data Product, you will be responsible for the commercial success of the Research Data Product (RDP). The primary users of this product are quantitative researchers within the academic, investment management, and government community. You will play a central role in making sure the product keeps up with the evolving needs of researchers. Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate product roadmaps and go-to-market (GTM) strategies for internal leadership and GTM teams.
- Clearly communicate and advocate for resource needs to prioritization forum(s).
- Collaborate with Sales to help qualify prospects.
- Communicate product requirements to the development/operations team.
- Gather market feedback on product opportunities and competitive threats.
- Serve as subject matter expert for internal and external presentations and escalation point for client issues.
Preferred Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in product management, or related field
- Experience supporting data sales to academics or quantitative research audiences.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment, with a passion for innovation and alignment with Morningstar's core values.
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials.
- Some travel may be required.
