About Us

Close is building the modern CRM for small, scaling businesses - just like us.

Today, we’re 100+ people across 22 countries. We’re united in our goal to help small businesses sell better by eliminating manual work and empowering them to focus on what matters most: relationships.

Close sets our compass by our customers and our people. Sustainability is core to serving both; we care deeply about the health of our business and the wellbeing of our team. We’re bootstrapped - meaning we’ve accepted no outside funding - and fully remote since 2016. The way we’ve chosen to build our business allows us to chart our own course.

Our team prioritizes impact, ownership, and quality. As a growing, remote-first company, we favor asynchronicity over meetings and we relentlessly prioritize work that moves the needle. We practice a mature approach to the workplace -- we expect our team to manage time effectively, communicate thoughtfully with teammates and customers, and produce great work.

About the Role

Close is hiring our first Senior Product Growth Analyst. This analyst will be embedded in the Growth team and act as a strategic partner. You’ll turn product and user data into actionable insights that will drive experimentation, prioritization, and sustainable revenue growth. You’ll help us build a disciplined, outcomes-driven growth process, identify opportunities, and ensure we’re focused on what truly moves the needle.

This analyst will build our product analytics foundation from the ground up. This includes working with Product and Data Engineering to improve instrumentation and define core metrics. You’ll play a key role in setting the standards for how we measure and learn from user behavior.

This is a high-impact role with direct influence on company strategy and growth. You’ll help Close transition from reactive growth efforts to a proactive, insight-led approach.

You are
  • A seasoned product/growth analyst with 5–8 years of experience in fast-paced SaaS or tech environments

  • Fluent in A/B testing methodologies and tools

  • Experienced in analyzing product usage and customer behavior to drive measurable outcomes

  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, imperfect datasets, and building from scratch

  • Commercially minded, able to connect product engagement with revenue impact

  • A proactive communicator and clear storyteller who can tailor insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and navigating complex discussions

  • Collaborative and cross-functional by nature, able to work fluidly across Product, Finance, Engineering, and Marketing

Bonus points if you bring:

  • Experience with data science techniques (e.g., regression modeling)

  • Data engineering skills to improve self-serve and data infrastructure

You will
  • Analyze product and user behavior to guide growth strategy

  • Design and assess A/B tests and experimentation frameworks

  • Define, monitor, and report on KPIs such as activation, conversion, and retention

  • Identify friction points in the customer journey and quantify potential impact

  • Build dashboards and tools to support team decision-making

  • Partner with Finance to size opportunities and inform forecasting

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to improve instrumentation and data quality

  • Proactively surface trends, opportunities, and risks to inform prioritization and ideation

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation including an organization-wide goal-based bonus

  • Paid Time Off: 5 Weeks PTO upon joining + Winter Holiday Break. Each year with the company, you’ll receive 2 additional PTO days

  • 80% Work Option: Work with your manager to choose between working 5 day weeks (standard full-time) or 4 day weeks @ 80% pay

  • Paid Parental Leave for primary and secondary caregivers

  • Sabbatical: After 5 years with the team, you’re eligible for a 1 month paid sabbatical

  • Healthcare (US residents): Medical, Dental, Vision with HSA option (US residents), Dependent care FSA (US residents)

  • 401k (US residents): We match 6% contributions with immediate vesting

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
