Mission at Rwazi

Rwazi is a decision intelligence platform powered by consumer-trained AI that helps global brands increase market share and revenue by transforming real-world consumer activity into actionable insights across 195+ countries.

Our AI identifies key opportunities and integrates zero-party consumer data from millions of users with enterprise systems for real-time, strategic guidance.

Sena, our B2B AI layer, serves as a conversational assistant and reporting engine, providing instant answers and insights from direct consumer data, which you will oversee as a designer.

---

The role

You will be the Senior Product Designer for Sena, responsible for the end-to-end experience of a data-rich, AI-native enterprise platform. You will shape the product alongside product and engineering leadership, design in a complex data context, and work closely with the code.

Product ownership. Sena is at an early and defining stage. You will influence what gets built, how intelligence is surfaced, and how enterprise clients interact with AI-generated insights. The designer here is a product thinker first.

Design-to-code workflow. Our process runs from Figma through Claude Code to production. You will use AI-assisted development tooling daily to prototype, build, and iterate on front-end implementations. This is integral to how the team operates.

Data visualization. Sena surfaces market intelligence, consumer analytics, AI-generated reports, and competitive benchmarking. You will design the AI-first, conversational experience, alongside dashboards, report layouts, and visualization systems that make dense, multi-dimensional data clear and actionable for enterprise users.

Business-oriented design. Design decisions are framed in terms of adoption, retention, time-to-value, and revenue impact. You will present and defend your work in those terms with stakeholders across the organization.

Small, senior team. You will report to the Director of Product Design and work alongside one other designer. Cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product leadership is direct and continuous.

What we're looking for
  • 5+ years of product design experience with substantial time spent on B2B SaaS products. Experience with enterprise dashboards, analytics platforms, reporting tools, or market intelligence products is especially relevant.

  • Fluency with AI/LLM tooling. You have integrated AI into your design or development workflow in a meaningful way. You understand how LLM-powered features behave, their constraints, and how to design for probabilistic outputs.

  • Front-end building capability. You are comfortable writing or editing HTML / CSS and have experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex.

  • User research skills. You can conduct user interviews, extract insights, and translate findings into clear product opportunities. You can present and advocate for these opportunities with stakeholders.

  • Strong data visualization skills. You can take a dense dataset and design a clear, effective way to present it. You have thought carefully about chart types, information hierarchy, and progressive disclosure in professional contexts.

  • Comfort with ambiguity. Sena is evolving. You will sometimes need to make strong design decisions with incomplete information and iterate as you learn more.

  • Business-literate design thinking. You can articulate why a design choice matters in terms of user adoption, conversion, retention, or operational efficiency, and you have done this in front of stakeholders.

Valued experience
  • Enterprise SaaS, market intelligence, research, or analytics platforms.

  • AI-native products where AI is the core value proposition.

  • Hands-on experience prototyping and building UI with Claude Code (or similar AI-assisted development tools).

  • Design systems or component library architecture.

  • Experience working across global markets and distributed teams.

How we work
  • Fully remote, distributed, and async-friendly.

  • Tools: Figma, Claude Code, PostHog, GitHub.

  • Team: Small design team embedded in a cross-functional product organization.

  • Pace: Opinionated about outcomes, flexible about process.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
