ABOUT THE TEAM
Our technology teams build innovative software platforms that power the development, deployment, and maintenance of Anduril's product worldwide. These platforms are critical to our mission of delivering high-quality solutions efficiently. We're seeking a Product Designer to enhance user experiences across our multiple domains within production and business systems.
What You’ll Do
As a Product Designer at Anduril, you'll be responsible for designing end-to-end user experiences that bridge technical processes with business workflows across multiple domains. You'll support leadership teams by creating materials and developing centralized knowledge repositories. More tactically, you will:
- Design intuitive interfaces that connect technical systems and business functions, improving process efficiency, evaluation, and reporting
- Create compelling presentations and web applications that showcase capabilities, roadmaps, and serve as central knowledge repositories across various product domains
- Own all aspects of design execution from discovery through implementation, focusing on high-velocity delivery that enables teams to achieve measurable business outcomes
- Collaborate directly with cross-functional teams to understand their workflows, translating complex processes into intuitive interfaces
- Partner with Design Leads while exercising appropriate autonomy in your daily work, making decisions quickly to maintain momentum
- Balance immediate tactical solutions that address urgent business needs while contributing to long-term design system evolution
- Create scalable components that work across device types, considering the unique environments where our technology operates
- Engage in contextual research by visiting operational environments to gain firsthand understanding of user needs and processes
- Communicate design decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, bringing them along in your process
- Collaborate with other designers across multiple verticals to maintain consistency and share best practices, working in the open to ensure cross-functional awareness
Who You Are
- Creative by default. Your work opens a world of possibilities for what we can build. You garner feedback with team members, walk in your users' shoes, and explore external trends to get your inspiration. You thrive in ideation and refine through iteration, and you lean on your instinct and experience to produce work that elicits an emotional response.
- Visual design expert. You have a deep understanding of visual design principles, including composition, color theory, typography, and Gestalt principles. You can create visually stunning and functional designs that enhance user experience and brand identity.
- Systems thinker. You think beyond the pixels and think holistically about the entire experience. You understand the immediate problem that needs solving at its core, but also can consider the extensibility of the solution elsewhere. You can make decisions on whether individual components should apply to a greater design system and champion the implementation of those components to other parts of the product.
- Storyteller. You are an effective communicator. You can tell a story through the lens of your users, and your mocks resonate because you understand them well. Your story has a beginning, middle, and end, taking your audience on a journey that engages their problems head on, welcomes feedback, all while showing the savvy of the solution.

- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Strong skills in visual design, interaction design with micro-interactions and animations.
- Proficiency in creating scalable components for various devices and environments.
- Experience in developing and implementing design systems.
- Comfort with on-site research and understanding of manufacturing and production environments.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
