What You'll Be Doing:
Core Product Design
- Lead the end-to-end design of AI-powered experiences including intelligent tools for publishers, developers, assistants, chat interfaces, and recommendation engines.
- Design UI/UX solutions for ambiguous and emerging problem spaces using AI/ML capabilities.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups with tools like Figma, Framer, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Prototype AI-powered experiences using emerging tools like Replit, Lovable, and Bolt to accelerate execution and foster an AI-first design approach.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces that communicate complex AI logic in a simple and trustworthy way.
- Conduct usability tests and synthesize findings to improve AI interaction patterns.
AI-Specific Innovation
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers and product managers to design interfaces that incorporate real-time data, large language models (LLMs), and user-generated prompts.
- Prototype and test AI-driven user experiences using tools that support interaction with models (e.g., Framer AI features, GPT-powered interactions).
- Consider ethical implications and user trust in every design-transparency, feedback loops, fail states, and explainability.
Design Systems & Documentation
- Build and contribute to Gloo's AI-specific design systems and component libraries.
- Maintain detailed documentation for user flows, models, and usage rules within AI-enabled products.
User Research & Experimentation
- Partner with researchers and data scientists to explore how users interact with AI interfaces.
- Use mixed-methods research to validate hypotheses and understand user mental models of AI behavior.
- Rapidly iterate based on qualitative feedback and live usage data.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Provide design mentorship to junior team members and contribute to overall design culture at Gloo AI.
- Partner closely with engineering to ensure feasibility and alignment of AI-powered UI components.
- Engage with stakeholders across Product, Data, Marketing, and Leadership to ensure a consistent and scalable design vision.
Cross-Pollination Opportunities

- Marketing Materials: Collaborate with our marketing team to create compelling visuals and assets for campaigns and lead generation efforts.

- Public-Facing Properties : Contribute to the design and improvement of public-facing properties such as gloo.us, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience across all touchpoints.
- Creative Strategy: Play a key role in shaping the visual and creative strategy for Gloo's public presence.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience designing AI/ML-powered interfaces, including assistants, recommendation systems, or predictive tools.
- A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process and examples of intelligent or AI-powered user experiences.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design, usability testing, and ethical considerations in AI.
- Proficiency in Figma, Framer, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant interface/motion design tools.
- Experience prototyping with tools like Replit, Lovable, Bolt, or similar platforms.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering creative, scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional and technical partnerships.
- Detail-oriented with a high bar for design quality and consistency.
Passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and staying ahead of AI and design trends. - Bachelor's degree in a design-related field (e.g., Product Design, HCI, Interaction Design) or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in UX/UI or product design, with relevant AI/ML design work.
