Overview

We’re looking for a senior product designer to help define the future of AI-native software interfaces in real estate.

At Uniti AI, customers use our platform to configure, monitor, and operate AI agents across voice, chat, SMS, WhatsApp, and email. We also build the real-time web chat experiences where end users directly interact with these agents.

You’ll work across both sides of the product:

  • the operational platform used by teams running our AI agents

  • the end-user interfaces where people interact with AI directly

This role is heavily focused on product UX, interaction design, workflows, usability, and interface innovation.

The UX patterns for AI-native and agentic software are still evolving. We’re looking for someone who can help shape what great AI interfaces look and feel like over the next several years.

You should care deeply about clarity, speed, polish, usability, and designing workflows that feel intuitive despite underlying complexity.

You’ll work closely with founders, engineers, customer teams, and customers themselves to rapidly prototype, test, and improve the product experience.

What you’ll do
  • Design core product workflows across the Uniti platform

  • Improve UX for agent configuration, reporting, monitoring, analytics, and operational tooling

  • Design polished, high-quality AI interaction experiences for our web chat products

  • Help define interaction patterns for AI-native and agentic software

  • Turn ambiguous ideas into intuitive product experiences

  • Conduct customer interviews and usability sessions to deeply understand workflows and friction points

  • Prototype and iterate quickly in Figma and modern design tools

  • Work closely with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation

  • Continuously improve product quality, consistency, and usability

  • Stay current with emerging interface patterns, AI tooling, and evolving user expectations around AI products

  • Contribute to product direction and roadmap discussions

What we’re looking for
  • 7+ years of experience designing digital products

  • Strong experience designing SaaS products or operational software

  • Exceptional product intuition and UX judgment

  • Strong visual and interaction design skills

  • Strong command of Figma and modern design tooling

  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments

  • Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive interfaces

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Comfortable talking directly with customers and translating feedback into product improvements

  • Highly curious about AI products and the future of software interfaces

Nice to have
  • Experience designing AI-native or agentic products

  • Frontend knowledge (HTML/CSS/React)

  • Ability to prototype interactions beyond static mockups

  • Experience working closely with engineering teams

  • Experience using AI tools for rapid prototyping and iteration

  • Startup experience

Additional context

This role is primarily focused on product and UX design. You’ll spend most of your time shaping the experience of the core platform and AI interaction surfaces, while also contributing to broader product and design direction across the company when needed.

Why join Uniti AI?

AI is changing how software gets used.

We believe the next generation of software will revolve around agents, automation, and conversational workflows, and the interfaces for these systems are still being invented.

You’ll have significant ownership over defining that experience inside a fast-moving AI company working on real operational problems at scale.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
