About the role

As a Senior Product Designer for Identity Security Cloud (ISC), you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our market-leading SaaS product. You'll contribute directly to SailPoint's design vision by creating innovative user experiences for ISC. Working closely with Product Management, Product Design, and Engineering, you'll conceptualize, design, and prototype user interfaces to improve the user experience and overall functionality of ISC. We're looking for someone who is self-directed, learns quickly, and can handle multiple projects at once.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product/UX Design, with a proven track record of delivering impactful design solutions.

  • A compelling portfolio showcasing your expertise in applying user-centered design principles to create exceptional user experiences.

  • Extensive experience working in collaborative, Agile software development environments, with a demonstrated ability to iteratively ship product with engineers and product teams.

  • A passion for high-quality interaction design, coupled with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

  • Exceptional judgment in applying user-centered design principles, methods, and processes to solve complex design challenges.

  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and resolving design issues.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, feedback, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • An experimental and innovative mindset, with a willingness to embrace new ideas and incorporate feedback to continuously improve your designs.

  • Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, XD, Sketch, and InVision.

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with a geographically distributed team.

Roadmap for success

30 Days

  • Goal: Onboard and integrate into the team.

  • Activities:

    • Build relationships with Product Management (PM) and Engineering stakeholders.

    • Familiarize yourself with the specific problem areas you'll be addressing.

    • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.

90 Days

  • Goal: Contribute to active design and development efforts.

  • Activities:

    • Collaborate with PM and Engineering to deliver production-ready design work.

    • Actively participate in the design and development process.

6 Months

  • Goal: Own and ship features from conception to release.

  • Activities:

    • Drive the development and release of features based on your design vision.

    • Shepherd features through the entire development lifecycle.

    • Define and track key metrics to measure the success of your designs against UX goals.

1 Year

  • Goal: Influence product strategy and drive innovation.

  • Activities:

    • Collaborate with PM to significantly influence the design and product strategy for your areas of responsibility.

    • Design and experiment with new solutions to shape the future of the product area.

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$125,500 - $179,300 - $233,100

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
