The Senior Product Designer is responsible for enhancing the user experience of AI products by conducting research, collaborating with teams, and implementing design standards.
As a Product Designer, you are responsible for the user experience of products at CoinMarketCap. Working with product managers and business stakeholders alike, you represent the voice of the user in all your designs. You have a deep understanding of our users and conduct research in a multitude of ways to ensure your designs always meet their needs.
While Product Designers at CMC generally work on various projects simultaneously, in this role one of the primary focus areas will be our emerging suite of AI products.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the product design of CoinMarketCap (UX/UI) and improving user experience of products
2. Discover design optimization points, improving design standards, and promote the implementation of those standards with product and engineering
3. Understand and respond to user problems and data (analysis, usability studies, etc.) to provide design decisions and recommendations
4. Work with a cross-functional, cross-regional team of designers, product managers, developers and other stakeholders
5. Balance user needs with technical constraints to help realize the team’s ideas, translating these ideas into extraordinary visuals
6. Join projects at varying stages of production, ranging from prototyping to providing scalable production resources, to polishing and optimizing UI assets for shipping, working closely with engineering to ensure a high-quality product
7. Participating in Design System building
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
1. Deep experience designing and building AI-related products such as AI models, chatbots, recommendation systems, or generative AI tools
2. Strong UI and UX design ability
3. Bachelor or Master degree in Art/Design, or equivalent professional experience
4. 5+ years of professional user experience/product design experience
5. Fluency in English
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
1. Global design project experience is nice to have
2. Fluent Mandarin communication is nice to have
3. Experience on user research is nice to have
4. Working experience in big companies is nice to have
5. Experience in crypto is preferred
