About the Job

As a Senior Product Data Analyst at Splitero, you will join our Product & Engineering team to deliver solutions to improve our homeowner and internal teams' experiences. This is an individual contributor role focused on building the foundation for data-informed decision-making across the company. You will support product and operations teams to better understand and present opportunities within our process to optimize for efficiency and usability.

You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and reports that help us understand both external product usage and homeowner behavior and internal operational performance, particularly within our Salesforce environment. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and operational leaders to develop insights that shape the user experience, optimize team workflows, and guide strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of data visualization and business performance metrics, especially within Salesforce CRM Analytics (Einstein Analytics, Tableau CRM), standard Salesforce reports, and product analytics platforms like PostHog/Google Analytics. You’ll play a central role in instrumenting new features, tracking lead-to-close funnels, building lead scoring models, and developing dashboards that support team management and goal setting.
As a Product Data Analyst, you will be successful when:

  • Product and operational teams are regularly using your dashboards to make strategic decisions.
  • You have directly provided actionable insights into product and operational experiences and delivered long-term value to all users of our systems.
  • You’ve worked with teams to define and standardize key performance metrics across the organization, including building accurate reporting.
  • Funnel performance and lead routing are measurably improved based on your scoring and analysis.
  • Leadership relies on your insights for roadmap planning, operational performance management, and initiative tracking.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role that will serve as a critical link between raw data and actionable insight. You’ll have the opportunity to define how data is used across teams, establish reporting standards, and help create a culture of metrics-driven decision-making.

The salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in data or product analytics, preferably in a SaaS, fintech, or financial services environment.
  • 3+ years of hands-on expertise in Salesforce CRM Analytics, including SAQL, bindings, dataflows, and dashboard development.
  • Strong knowledge of the Salesforce data model, especially Leads, Opportunities, Contacts, and related objects.
  • Experience with product analytics tools like PostHog, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
  • Ability to define KPIs, build dashboards, and drive insight-based decisions across teams.
  • Experience communicating complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • A passion for using data to improve user experience and streamline operations.
  •  Experience in the finance, mortgage, or real estate industries is a strong plus, especially in high-volume, lead-driven environments.
  • Familiarity with SQL or lightweight data modeling tools (e.g., dbt)
  • Exposure to A/B testing, user segmentation, or experimentation frameworks.
  • Experience supporting GTM teams (sales, marketing, revenue ops) with performance data.
  • Desire to participate in fast-paced early-stage startup
  • Adaptability: Embraces changing circumstances with resiliency and positivity
  • Team-Oriented: Prioritizes collaboration, inclusivity, and teammate support

About Us

Millions of homeowners in today’s economy are sitting on substantial home equity they are unable to access due to rising interest rates and strict qualification requirements of traditional lenders. That means millions of homeowners can’t convert their hard-earned equity into cash to pay off debt, start a home renovation, or pad their retirement to better their lives.

Splitero co-founders Michael Gifford and David Zvaifler witnessed the problem firsthand throughout their real estate careers. They set out to create a win-win product that could help those homeowners access their home equity but not make monthly payments or add additional debt like traditional financing options. And thus, Splitero was born.

As part of our team, you will join our quest to revolutionize the real estate industry while helping families in need. We offer a suite of benefits designed to help you thrive in all areas of life.

  • Fully Remote Team - Our remote-first culture allows us to hire the best people, regardless of location.
  • OneTeam Culture - We foster a culture of transparency, innovation, and inclusivity, where every voice is heard and every team member is valued. We believe in celebrating our successes, doing the right thing, and helping each other so we grow as a team and as individuals.
  • Generous Resources - We want to ensure you are set up to do your best work. In addition to a solid tech stack, and access to any WeWork location, you will receive a monthly cell and internet stipend.
  • Premium Healthcare - We offer comprehensive healthcare plans for you and your family, which employees are eligible for on their first day.
  • Flexible PTO and Parental Leave - We offer a generous PTO and encourage employees to take time off to recharge. We're proud to offer a parental leave policy that allows you to welcome your new addition without worry.

We are a workforce composed of individuals with diverse backgrounds, abilities, minds, and identities. In keeping with our commitment to inclusion, we will ensure that people with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodations. If reasonable accommodations are required when applying, interviewing, or performing the essential functions of this position, please contact People Operations, at [email protected].

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
