Senior Product Analyst
AllTrails is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to help inform product strategy by proactively generating insights that identify new opportunities, guiding how we iterate on existing features to drive business outcomes, and supporting the day to day ops of being embedded in a product development team. This role will report to the Senior Director of Data Analytics, and will partner closely with product managers, designers, researchers, engineers, and marketers, to uncover new ways of scaling AllTrails through product-driven growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Empowering the team with actionable insights about our users and their behavior, to support our core product initiatives that drive business impact through engagement with some of AllTrail’s most popular features
- Sharing findings, insights and recommendations across the broader organization
- Create and design A/B experiments, reports and dashboards to track progress, analyze the results and provide decision recommendations
- Standardizing reporting metrics based on key business objectives
- Owning relevant KPIs, flagging potential performance improvements to the team early and often, and keeping the team informed of progress
- Partnering with teammates to develop and adapt analytic event definitions, testing frameworks, and segmentation criteria
- Collaborate cross functionally to drive alignment and consistency in measurement
- Identifying technical and strategic gaps in our analytics infrastructure and recommending solutions
Requirements:
- 4+ years of work experience in analytics, data science, or other quantitative domains, specifically product and user behavior analysis for B2C teams
- Deep understanding of the configuration and analysis of product A/B experimentation
- Proficiency in pulling and joining large data sets with SQL and performing analysis using tools such as Python, R, or Excel
- Proficiency in designing and building dashboards with tools such as Apache Superset, Looker, or Tableau
- An understanding and excitement in building out optimized tables and views in a Data Warehouse/Marts
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and a problem solver
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to persuade and inspire, a knack for breaking down complex concepts, and a proactive attitude towards knowledge sharing
- AI Native: You naturally incorporate AI tools to enhance your work. You’re comfortable writing prompts, evaluating AI outputs, and enjoy experimenting with new ways to boost creativity, productivity, and decision-making.

- B2C mobile subscription software or internet company experience
- Startup experience or experience working at a company that has scaled quickly
- Experience with dBT, Dataform, Looker, Amplitude, Jira, Confluence, Coda, and/or Github
