Our Senior Producer role offers the rare opportunity to shape and deliver the continued success of Treasure Party, the next massive hit in the match-3 genre. This is a high-impact role where you will play a critical role in driving execution on the full development lifecycle for our top mobile title. Leveraging your expertise in game production, you will drive cross-functional alignment, optimize workflows, and steer strategic decisions for a game that has already achieved product-market fit. 

This role will directly advance both player engagement and revenue growth, making a measurable impact on player experience and business performance alike. This is a chance to make high-visibility decisions in a collaborative, player-first studio culture, while helping steer one of the most exciting titles in mobile gaming today.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Production Expertise: Lead cross-functional collaboration, keeping projects on track and ensuring releases are executed with precision and excellence.
  • Framework Optimization: Establish, refine, and evolve production processes, tools, and frameworks to support seamless planning, predictability, and delivery. Champion agile methodologies to drive adaptability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Leverage project management tools to provide visibility, track progress, and generate actionable insights that improve team performance and accountability.
  • Milestone and Delivery Oversight: Guide projects from concept to release, ensuring creative and technical standards are met. Anticipate shifts, adjust plans, and maintain alignment to deliver high-quality releases on schedule and within budget.
  • Risk Management: Identify bottlenecks and dependencies early, and implement effective solutions to minimize delays and keep projects moving forward.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Foster communication and collaboration across stakeholders, driving clarity, informed decision-making, and shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Strategic Product Oversight: Maintain a deep understanding of the product’s design, technology, performance, and data to influence decisions that shape both player experience and business success.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to refine workflows, streamline practices, and elevate overall output quality.
  • Release Planning: Align development schedules across teams, balancing priorities, interdependencies, and resources to ensure smooth, predictable launches.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Degree: B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Experience: 5+ years of game production experience, preferably in the mobile games industry, with at least one shipped title credited as a Producer in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep technical proficiency in project management and development tools (JIRA, Git, Perforce), familiarity in Agile/SCRUM methodologies, and a proven track record of guiding high-performing teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Ability: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the capacity to motivate teams, influence without authority, and thrive under deadlines in high-pressure situations.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the F2P mobile gaming market, including key KPIs and strategies to drive improvements, combined with expertise in game design, tech, performance, data, and live ops. 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Demonstrated success working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-discipline teams to deliver complex, high-impact products.

  • Industry experience: Prior experience in the mobile gaming industry, especially with match-3 titles or other casual F2P games.

At PlayQ, we leverage competitive benchmarking data when setting each role’s base pay range. Individual base salary will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, scope of role, business need and geographic location.The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$100,000-$140,000 USD

  • In-office location: Santa Monica, CA. Open to remote for the right candidate. 
  • This role is offered as a full time position.
