WE ARE GAME MAKERS

Who we are:

We are a diverse team of developers driven by a passion for our art, united by our core values and inspired by a culture of inclusivity to build amazing games that thrill players everywhere. We pursue growth and innovation in an environment of safety and trust. Our culture is built on the belief that the more varied voices in our collective will strengthen our team and our games.  We are looking for our next teammate who will raise our bar and make us better.

What we need:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Producer to lead multiple areas and crafts, while also driving features from inception to completion. The ideal candidate is an adaptive planner and problem solver who can collaborate with development partners to create, track, and manage production schedules with clear, actionable goals.

Additionally, the Senior Producer will need to successfully partner with department leads as well as individual contributors to identify risks, manage feature scope, and ensure deliverables have proper signoffs and are completed on time. Working closely with studio and production leadership, you will act as a driving force for consistent processes, team health / culture and the mentoring of the next generation of production talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Production Management & Delivery: Act as the production leader for multiple features and/or departments, taking accountability for the quality, upkeep, and timeliness of milestone deliverables from concept to completion.
  • Schedule & Goal Creation: Collaborate with area leadership and partners to create, organize, track, and manage feature and/or department schedules with actionable goals.
  •  Risk & Scope Mitigation: Actively identify complex development, project, or personnel risks in a timely manner; suggest effective mitigation strategies and aggressively manage feature or scope creep.
  • Feature Ownership: Lead specific features from inception to completion as a Feature Owner, partnering with other producers to identify dependencies, eliminate bottlenecks, mitigate risks and ensure seamless execution.
  •  Issue Resolution: Use a critical thinking mindset to identify, track, manage, and resolve project impediments daily by proactively providing solutions to ensure no "dangling threads" slow down team progress.
  • Team Communication: Organize and report project updates, feature statuses, and strategic vision clearly to the appropriate teams at the appropriate times while understanding that different audiences require different approaches.
  •  People & Staff Management: Provide day-to-day management, mentoring, and leadership to the production staff, delivering actionable growth plans and regular feedback to direct reports.

Who you are:

  • An Adaptive Planner & Doer: An opportunistic self-starter who proactively identifies what needs doing and owns it, making tough, timely decisions to achieve project goals.
  • A Trusted Collaborator: A professional, respectful, and approachable diplomat who excels at building bridges, managing different personalities, and influencing without authority.
  • An Expert Communicator: Highly articulate, thorough, and direct in both written and verbal communications, with an ability to adapt your style across informal group discussions and formal meetings.
  • A Skilled Listener: Emotionally mature, self-aware, and focused on understanding the crux of a situation and the concerns of those involved.
  • An Eye for Quality: Possess an expert eye for visual and functional quality, always pushing for excellence while knowing when "enough is enough".
  • A Supportive Leader: Focused on setting up developers and producers with the tools, backing, and roles needed for ultimate success. Able to help developers and direct reports alike grow to their full potential.
  • Culturally Attentive: Attuned to team morale and culture, focused on creating a positive, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
  • Grounded in the Craft: Speaks the languages of game development, leads by example, and is always willing to "roll up your sleeves" whenever it's needed. Understands that the game’s interests come before any individual or group
  • Level of Experience: 8-12 years of experience on a HD / AAA game development team. Live service experience is a plus.
  • Tooling: Minimum intermediate level JIRA experience paired with a strong understanding of Agile processes and how to adapt to a game development reality

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
