About the role

As Senior Producer, Anime Games, you will lead the operations team in planning, testing, implementing, and maintaining both technology and infrastructure. You will propose projects that increase reliability and analyze technologies that help improve Crunchyroll's platforms or operations.

You will oversee the launch of several games across multiple platforms. You will work with external developers, IP holders, and our teams to bring games to market.

You will lead team efforts and collaborate across departments to ensure that tasks are documented, defined, and the goals are met. You will develop and oversee processes, procedures, and project plans that provide for the continued, reliable operation of the Crunchyroll Games, Free to Play, and Subscription platforms. You will love this role if you love Anime and games, and you love innovation, who can lead successful game launches with both internal and external partners.

  • Inspire and empower the games team by guiding them through continuous improvement and sharing takeaways with all our partners.
  • Lead the team to maintain project schedules and build processes for end-to-end game launches.
  • Identify risks early and often, and remove roadblocks and performance bottlenecks.
  • Hold regular meetings with individuals and partners to discuss status, resolve issues, and share information.
  • Be the internal product promoter by providing insight into game pitches and providing transparency into possible successes or challenges.
  • Partner with main leads across Product, Marketing, Analytics, Technology, Brand, and more, to develop a player-based, data-informed, go-to-market strategy.

In the role of Senior Producer, Anime Games, you will report to the Director, Studio Partnerships, Anime Games.

We are considering applicants for the locations of San Francisco or Los Angeles.

About You

  • 7+ years of experience in gaming industry or game publishing
  • 5+ years of experience supporting large-scale mobile and console video games from concept to development and launch
  • 2+ years of project management relating to game development
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience playing all types of games, including mobile, console, and PC
  • Experience working in global teams
  • Japanese language skills

The Crunchyroll Games team is bringing the best of anime gaming to Crunchyroll's audience on multiple platforms. We work with a variety of global and domestic partners to launch games to over 100+ countries, and bring more fans into the anime gaming ecosystem. We are composed of anime enthusiasts, gaming creation experts and the latest technologists. We are collaborative, and partner with multiple teams to ensure success in a fast-growing market.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
