Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as a Procurement Buyer!  You will be responsible for support of all procurement activities for the organization. Responsible for specific spend categories and development of preferred supplier lists for each category. Develop and maintain efficient and effective policies, procedures, and suppliers.

For this exciting career opportunity, you will…

  • Manage a set of mid-level suppliers
  • Develop reporting to provide statistics around on-time delivery, invoices, purchase order accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Assist senior personnel with RFP creation and compilation of quarterly business reviews
  • Review and evaluate contracts. Support negotiations as requested.
  • May mentor junior staff.
  • Lead projects across organization to include policy and procedure design, supplier selection, and reporting.
  • Advocate for implementation of procurement policies and procedure across the organization
  • Analyze and understand industry prices, price trends, and make recommendations regarding our pricing.

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

  • 1-5+ years applicable experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong sense of matrix environment with ability to effectively work within a team environment across North America and different time zones.
  • Ability to manage small and large sourcing projects.
  • Proactive and self-starter, with end-to-end supply chain experience.
  • CPIM, CPSM, or SPSM certified preferred, but not required. 

Compensation Range

$55,700.00 - $83,500.00
