The Senior Principal Systems Engineer will collaborate with the Test Solutions Engineering team consisting of industry professionals from a wide-range of technical backgrounds and disciplines, including software developers, aerospace, electrical, computer, and mechanical engineers. The candidate will have proven expertise in the design, development, and sustainment of industry leading innovative test solutions across multiple technology domains, notably analog, digital, optical, and radio frequency (RF) products. Additionally, the candidate will become part of the Engineering Process Team, in support of the integration of Integrated Test Engineering into mulit-disciplines, SE, SW, HW, and PEM.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Ability to collaborate with all engineering disciplines and provide guidance on test solutions
• Highly motivated individual with strong analytical and problem solving skills, who is effective at communication and can engage constructively with peers and technical leads.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• More than 10 years of working experience as an engineer
• Product development experience including requirement analysis, architecture, system design, integration and test
• Experience performing requirements analysis, derivation and allocation, and translating requirements to viable concepts design solutions
• Experience with Integration and test
• Experience leading small teams

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
