About the Role

Dandy is seeking a Senior Principal Product Manager to lead our Practice Advanced Technology initiatives. This is a visionary leadership role focused on building technology solutions that directly drive revenue growth and profitability for our dental practice customers. You will own the strategy and execution of cutting-edge features that leverage AI/ML, CAD, and advanced technologies to transform how practices operate and grow their business.

As the Senior Principal for Practice Advanced Technology, you will be responsible for developing and delivering technology solutions that make every practice that partners with Dandy more successful. This includes pioneering capabilities in practice engagement tools, direct-to-patient communication systems, and AI/ML-native treatment simulation platforms.

This role represents a unique opportunity to shape the future of dental practice technology and directly impact the success of thousands of dental practices worldwide.

What You'll Do
  • Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Practice Advanced Technology solutions that measurably increase practice revenue and profitability

  • Drive the creation of intelligent practice engagement tools that optimize workflow efficiency and patient throughput

  • Architect direct-to-patient communication platforms that improve case acceptance rates and strengthen patient relationships

  • Pioneer AI/ML-native treatment simulation capabilities that enhance patient understanding and treatment plan acceptance

  • Work closely with full-stack engineering, ML/AI, CAD, and design teams to deliver scalable, high-performance technology solutions

  • Develop deep expertise in dental practice operations, revenue drivers, and patient journey optimization to inform product decisions

  • Partner with the executive team to establish success metrics that directly correlate with practice revenue growth and customer retention

  • Conduct extensive customer discovery with practice owners, office managers, and clinical teams to understand pain points and opportunities

  • Build compelling business cases demonstrating ROI for practices and articulating the value proposition of advanced technology adoption

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that span multiple engineering disciplines and require coordination across complex technical systems

  • Champion data-driven decision making by establishing measurement frameworks and success criteria for all technology initiatives

  • Communicate product vision, progress, and impact to stakeholders at all levels through clear reporting and compelling demonstrations

What We're Looking For
  • 12+ years of product management experience, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles driving complex, multi-disciplinary product strategies

  • Proven track record of building and launching technology products that directly drive measurable business outcomes for customers

  • Deep technical fluency across full-stack development, machine learning/AI systems, and CAD technologies with ability to guide technical architecture decisions

  • Exceptional strategic thinking ability with demonstrated success translating market opportunities into clear product vision and executable roadmaps

  • Customer-obsessed mindset with proven ability to deeply understand customer needs and translate them into compelling product experiences

  • Outstanding communication and influence skills, with ability to build consensus across functions and articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

  • Data-driven approach to product development with experience establishing KPIs that directly correlate with customer business outcomes

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high bias for action—comfortable operating in ambiguous environments while driving measurable results

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex technical initiatives requiring coordination across multiple engineering disciplines
