DUTIES:
Architect, create, maintain, manage, and optimize data pipelines as workloads move from development to production for specific use cases. Responsible for using innovative and modern tools, techniques and architectures to partially or completely automate the most-common, repeatable and tedious data preparation and integration tasks in order to minimize manual and error-prone processes and improve productivity. Assist with renovating the data management infrastructure to drive automation in data integration and management. Develop algorithms and predictive models to solve critical business problems. Develop tools and libraries that will help analytics team members more efficiently interface with huge amounts of data. Analyze large, noisy datasets and identify meaningful patterns that provide actionable results. Develop and automate new enhanced imputation algorithms. Work with data lakes and databases including any aspect of administration or support required to maintain them. Hybrid work permitted. When not working from home, must report to a Callaway Golf Sales Company office in Carlsbad, CA; Dallas/Roanoke, TX; or Chicopee, MA. May travel up to 1 week per year to a Callaway Golf Sales Company office location in the continental U.S. (Carlsbad, CA; Roanoke, TX; or Chicopee, MA).
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field plus 5 years of experience in the offered position or closely related occupation; or (without a degree) 7 years of experience in the offered position or closely related occupation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
5 years of cloud platform experience.
-
5 years of experience with Snowflake, Azure, and visualization tools.
Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be “quantified” by “time”. Required expertise/knowledge includes:

Experience with Data Integration tools Spark/Databricks or equivalent.

Experience in Linux/Unix shell scripting.
-
Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.

Fluency with at least one scripting language: Python, R.

Knowledge of DevOps workflows, cloud-native platforms (containers, Kubernetes, serverless) and tools (including Git), and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (CloudFormation or Terraform).

Experience creating pipelines in Snowflake.
-
Knowledge of Cloud technologies and offerings in MS Azure.
-
Knowledge of data warehousing and OLAP principles and dealing with high volume transactions.

Experience developing and implementing MarTech solutions that improve business performance, customer engagement, and data-driven decision-making.
OTHER: 40 hours/week; Salary range: $167,877 per year – $211,800 per year. If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S. EOE.
