The Powershell specialist will be part of a larger team in one of our premier enterprise, customer environments. The focus will be upon enforcing Powershell logging on all endpoints and integrating advanced authentication methods including MFA and secure hardware keys.
The position is required to be onsite 3 days per week in Los Angeles, CA.
Work You'll Do:
- Develop, implement, and maintain PowerShell scripts for logging and monitoring purposes.
- Design and configure logging solutions to capture and analyze system and application events.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to identify logging requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to logging and script execution.
- Optimize existing PowerShell scripts for performance and reliability.
- Create and maintain documentation for logging processes, scripts, and configurations.
- Provide training and support to team members on PowerShell scripting and logging best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest PowerShell features and industry trends to continuously improve logging solutions.
What You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with MFA and secure hardware keys.
- Strong understanding of logging frameworks and best practices.
- Experience with Windows Event Logs, Syslog, and other logging mechanisms.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging PowerShell scripts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: PowerShell) are a plus.
