Job Description

About the Role: Fragomen, an AmLaw 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Portfolio Manager who has strong communication and leadership skills to manage a portfolio of projects and deliver the goals and objectives of our organization. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and independent but also a team player. They will need to allocate resources across a wide range of projects to deliver all within their allotted schedule and budget while meeting quality standards.

How will you make a difference as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Fragomen?

  • Apply portfolio management methodologies to ensure the objectives and goals of the firm
  • Manage portfolio activities in a diverse business environment, with projects that span disciplines
  • Supervise the work of project managers and provide expert knowledge and support to the team
  • Facilitate meetings and discussion with stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Maintain portfolio level governance with governance committee
  • Oversee project portfolio reporting and performance tracking
  • Manage and develop a small team of PPM professionals
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the portfolio

Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:

  • 7+ years of Project Portfolio experience, with 5+ years of Project Portfolio Management experience
  • Graduated from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in the field or direct related experience in place of academic focus on business/project management/related topics
  • Preferred project management professional (PMP) or portfolio management professional (PfMP) certification
  • Previous experience supervising or leading a small team would be preferred
  • A client service mindset, attention to detail and desire to achieve a high level of productivity
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
  • The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and escalate issues to relevant parties
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to contribute to positive work environment, effectively collaborate and promote teamwork
  • Experience with ServiceNow SPM is preferred
  • Experience with various Project and Portfolio Management tools is preferred
