As Senior PMIS System Manager II, you will serve as the enterprise owner and primary system administrator for Micron's construction Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) supporting Procurement and Construction Contract Administration. This includes Procore and associated PMIS platforms (e.g., QuickBase, Smartsheet, and integrations with enterprise systems).
This is a senior individual contributor role with enterprise-wide influence. The role is responsible for system governance, configuration, integration, adoption, and continuous improvement of PMIS capabilities across Micron's U.S. construction programs, with an eye toward future scalability. The PMIS System Manager ensures reliable system performance, strong user adoption, compliant processes, and alignment between construction execution, procurement, project controls, and enterprise systems
Responsibilities
PMIS Platform Ownership & Administration
  • Serve as the primary administrator and platform owner for Micron's construction PMIS, including system setup, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure PMIS capabilities are implemented consistently and support construction procurement, contract administration, and project delivery needs across programs.
  • Coordinate with PMIS system providers to manage configurations, improvements, issue resolution, and release impacts.

System Governance & Security
  • Own PMIS governance, including user access, permissions, role definitions, and data security.
  • Define and maintain standards, workflows, and operating procedures to ensure consistent and compliant system use.
  • Support and assess system updates, upgrades, and new functionality, ensuring alignment with Micron processes before deployment.

Process Enablement & Project Controls
  • Configure and support PMIS workflows that enable Micron project control functions, including:
    • Contract administration
    • Change management
    • Notices
    • Document management, RFIs, submittals, correspondence, and action tracking
  • Review existing processes and workflows regularly to identify inefficiencies, risks, or improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives to support adoption of new processes and technologies while minimizing disruption to active projects.

Training, Adoption & User Support
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver role-based training materials, job aids, and workflow documentation specific to Micron construction processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for project teams, collaborators, and trade partners to ensure effective and compliant PMIS usage.
  • Provide hands-on system support, troubleshooting, and mentorship to users; advance issues to system providers when necessary.

Integration & Compliance
  • Ensure PMIS tools are coordinated into daily project execution and align with contract requirements, internal policies, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate PMIS integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, scheduling, document controls, and reporting platforms).
  • Partner with internal IT, Finance, Procurement, and Business Intelligence teams to support program-wide reporting and data consistency.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Monitor PMIS system health, data quality, and workflow performance.
  • Configure and test PMIS modules to support new or evolving program requirements.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insight into cost, schedule, contracts, and procurement performance.
  • Track and analyze process performance and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Documentation & Communication
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of PMIS processes, workflows, system changes, and known issues.
  • Perform requirements gathering with cross-functional stakeholders and translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Communicate efficiently across construction, procurement, engineering, finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5 + years of experience in construction management, project controls, procurement operations, or PMIS administration.
  • Experience working with enterprise PMIS platforms supporting construction and capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction management principles, including cost, schedule, contracts, change management, and document control.
  • Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement and report onsite as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced experience configuring, administering, and supporting construction PMIS platforms.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and analytics for construction and procurement leadership.
  • Familiarity with PMIS integrations to systems such as ERP, scheduling tools, document management platforms, and reporting solutions.
  • Experience supporting system releases, improvements, and controlled deployments in an operational environment.
  • Knowledge of data structures, reporting logic, or integration concepts (e.g., APIs, data feeds).

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$96,000.00 - $173,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
