Ready to make connectivity from space universally accessible, secure, and actionable? Then you’ve come to the right place!

At E-Space, we’re focused on bridging Earth and space with the world’s most sustainable low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network. We’re a team of bold thinkers, ambitious leaders and dynamic doers—and we’re disrupting NewSpace by fundamentally changing the design of legacy LEO space systems to deliver entirely new satellite capabilities at a fraction of the cost.

We’re intentional, we’re unapologetically curious and we’re 100% committed—to saving space, to protecting our planet and to turning connectivity into actionable intelligence.

What you will be doing:

  • Expand our footprint within existing cloud platformresources within AWS/Azure
  • Implement and expand use of secure platform infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes)
  • Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using tools like Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
  • Deploy and manage Database deployments to ensure uptime and scalability
  • Build suite of CI/CD tools that can be leveraged across the company
  • Work closely with IT, Mission Ops and Test team to ensure ease of application deployments and accessibility

What you bring to this role:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in Platform, DevOps, or SRE roles
  • Strong foundation and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Helm and container orchestration tools.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture principles.
  • Strong scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).

Bonus points:

  • Experience with Zero Trust Networking (ZTNA) or VPN solutions.

This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office.  The target base pay for this position is $100,000 - $165,000 annually.  The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.

E-Space is not currently able to provide employment sponsorship for candidates who do not hold work authorization for the location of this role.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
