Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $328Mm in funding, including our Series D, at a $3B valuation from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, Menlo Ventures, Goldman Sachs Alternatives, and others.

We’re looking for a Senior Planner to join the Brand Planning team and lead marketing strategy and execution for an emerging side of our growing business: Enterprise, Payor, and Partnerships. In this role, you’ll lead development of a marketing strategy for B2B audiences in close partnership with cross-functional leaders, including positioning and messaging, audience insights, channel planning, roadmaps and creative executions.

You’ll be the owner of insights and marketing initiatives related to these audiences, and act as the connective tissue between relevant product, creative, research, data, and other teams to ensure consistency and alignment to the overall company and brand strategy.

The ideal candidate is an experienced brand strategist or integrated marketer with a sharp POV, excellent ability to build trust across an organization, and translate ambiguity into actionable and clear plans. Agency and client side experience is a plus, deep B2B knowledge and experience is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Architecting the B2B marketing approach, including understanding landscape, audiences, and most effective marketing channels and methods

  • Develop B2B-specific positioning and messaging architectures, elevating unique insights into the enterprise, payor, and partnership industries

  • Build and own integrated campaign roadmaps, defining objectives and executional plans to bring campaigns to life effectively

  • Serve as the liaison and connective tissue between the B2B business owners and the brand & marketing team, ensuring effective partner support plus brand alignment

  • Partner cross-functionally with creative, product, product marketing, lifecycle, research, data, and other relevant stakeholders to drive alignment and clarity

  • Develop insights and write creative briefs that translate complex business needs into inspiring direction for creative teams

  • Facilitate campaign kickoffs, strategic working sessions, and creative reviews, ensuring all stakeholders are anchored to B2B strategy and campaign objectives

  • Ensure all creative output ladders up to the broader brand strategy while addressing the distinct needs and expectations of B2B audiences

  • Implement scalable planning and communication rhythms that keep cross-functional partners aligned and work moving efficiently

  • Evaluate campaign performance in partnership with analytics, using data to continuously refine messaging strategy and improve business impact

You'll Be a Good Fit If You Have

  • 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, brand planning, or integrated marketing—with meaningful B2B experience, ideally spanning both agency and in-house environments

  • Strong familiarity with B2B marketing dynamics, including longer sales cycles, hard to reach audiences, and specific seasonality dynamics

  • A proven track record of developing positioning and messaging for B2B audiences, multisided marketplace and/or health care experience a plus

  • Demonstrated expertise in writing creative briefs, developing messaging frameworks, and translating complex business needs into clear strategic narratives

  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-moving organizations, with the instincts to build trust and drive alignment without direct authority

  • A strategic yet hands-on approach—equally comfortable developing the vision and rolling up your sleeves to make it real

  • Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity to complex or emerging business areas

  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for building brands with consistency and purpose

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
