Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our team. In this hybrid role based at our Carson, CA headquarters, you will be responsible for managing and executing the purchase of finished products from both domestic and import vendors for multichannel distribution. The position also involves analyzing historical data, statistical trends and sales reports to forecast future replenishment needs and support demand planning. Applicants should have a background in forecasting and purchasing finished goods, along with a solid understanding of replenishment software. We value a collaborative team environment—so strong interpersonal skills are a must. Experience in retail and import purchasing is a significant plus.
A day on the job looks like this:
- Managing and executing the purchase of finished products from domestic and import vendors for multichannel distribution
- Analyzing historical data, statistical trends and sales reports to forecast replenishment needs and support demand planning
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on new item launches, product revisions and end-of-life scenarios
- Minimizing overstock while maintaining a best-in-class fill rate
- Leading and supporting intermediate-level projects and process improvement initiatives

- Master’s degree in Supply Chain (or a bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of purchasing experience in Supply Chain)
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong math skills
- Proven decision-making abilities
- A strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-through
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A team mindset with the ability to work independently
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, including the ability to train others
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively

At Lakeshore, we pay local market wages for employees that reside within Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
For this position, new employees joining Lakeshore who live within Los Angeles and Orange Counties are typically brought into the organization at a salary rate between $82,000-$95,000 depending on relevant experience & skillset.
This range is indicative of projected hiring range. The annual base compensation will take into account each candidate's relevant experience, location, and skillset.
