Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Performance Test Engineer with strong experience using LoadRunner (HTTP Protocol) and JMeter to join a collaborative and agile team that supports and builds modern, standards-based responsive web application for mission-critical health IT solutions.

Basic Requirements:  

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
  • Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.
  • Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.
  • Must have bachelor’s degree and 5 Years related experience in related field; master’s degree with 3 Years of experience
  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of performance testing experience with one or more performance testing tools like LoadRunner/JMeter
  • Ideally has a minimum of 3 years of Automation testing experience one or more frameworks like Cucumber/Gauge/cypress /TestNG
  • 3+ year of experience with selenium web driver using Java
  • 3 or more years of experience with Jasmine or similar JavaScript based testing frameworks.
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Java developer.
  • Working experience with Node Js and SQL language is preferred
  • Experience in working with sources control tool like git
  • Good knowledge in using various IDEs like Vs code, IntelliJ
  • Strong hands-on experience in LoadRunner (HTTP Protocol) and open-source tools such as JMeter
  • Knowledge of open-source automation tools such as Selenium
  • Experience creating automation for Angular applications.
  • Must have experience developing automated test scripts and working with one or more of Selenium, QTP, HP-UFT, Rational Functional Tester and/or Junit.
  • Experience with collaboration and tracking tools, such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA and Confluence.
  • Exposure to wide automation concepts, framework & best practices from industry in automating web applications.
  • Ability to incorporate individual contributions to automation repository.
  • Must have knowledge and experience working with and supporting the development of an overall test Plan and tailored test plans for each release.
  • Past Federal contracting experience. 
  • Skilled at preparing comprehensive reports on testing progress/issues and remedial action.
  • Must have a familiarity with writing database scripts for backend validation.
  • Strong written & verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Engage early in the project lifecycle with architects, application development SMEs, and infrastructure build engineers and define performance best practices
  • Lead performance optimization efforts with a strong command of complex performance issues and the ability to direct component owners (i.e. network, database, application development, server OS/WAS, storage, etc.)
  • Develop performance test plan
  • Develop performance test scripts to validate performance requirements.
  • Execute performance test scripts and provide analysis of results.
  • Supporting test automation efforts when performance testing is not conducted
  • Participate in meetings, status reporting, innovation activities, as required.

Public Trust Clearance:

Many of our roles require the hired candidate to go through public trust clearance. A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is required to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship. 

Work Location:

Headquartered in Arlington, VA, we also have a primary office in Baltimore, MD for those who prefer to work on-site. However, with employees spread across 40+ states, we have many remote roles.
