Senior People Experience Partner for Engineering and Product acts as a strategic partner to the Engineering and Product teams, aligning People strategies and practices with the specific needs of these dynamic and innovative departments. This role involves providing expert and experienced guidance on talent management, organizational design, and employee relations, while fostering a high-performance culture that drives product development and engineering excellence.

 

This role will be based out of either our Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY office and has a hybrid work schedule (3 in-person days per week).

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with senior leadership to craft and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives, elevate organizational performance, and drive cultural transformation. Ensure regulatory compliance through a partnership with HR management and in-house employment counsel. 
  • Talent Management: Lead talent development and retention initiatives to attract and nurture top-tier talent. Design and implement robust performance management, succession planning, and employee development programs. 
  • Employee Relations: Provide expert guidance on employee relations, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Sensitively and professionally address and resolve complex employee concerns. Work closely with business managers on performance and grievance issues and provide actionable direction. 
  • Employee Engagement and Wellbeing: Champion employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives to enhance staff health and job satisfaction. Create and implement programs that support holistic employee wellness. 
  • Organizational Development: Lead change management initiatives and development projects to meet evolving business needs. Facilitate team development and leadership training programs to cultivate a high-performing workforce. 
  • HR Metrics and Analysis: Leverage data-driven insights to shape HR strategies and make informed decisions. Continuously monitor and analyze key HR metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Advocate for and implement HR best practices throughout the organization. Oversee immigration processes in collaboration with business leaders and immigration lawyers. 
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Ensure the efficient management of HR policies and procedures. Continuously improve HR processes to support organizational goals. 
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other related responsibilities as assigned by HR Management, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the HR function. 

What You've Done

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Well-experienced in all aspects of Georgia state employment law.
  • Have a track record of strong business partnerships within a dynamic, fast-paced, and exciting environment.
  • A strategic leader who takes the initiative and ownership, experienced in a dynamic, fast-paced, and exciting environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and sustain collaborative relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Have extensive experience in Human Resources and working cross-functionally with all areas of HR.
  • Understand prioritization to meet business needs.
  • Have the ability to deal with change management initiatives effectively.
  • A self-starter with a creative mind and track record of putting ideas into practice and assessing the results.
  • An engaging teammate with integrity, assertive with an ability to build trust.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits. 

Salary Range

$135,000$165,000 USD
