At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Senior Penetration Tester to join our UniQue Security Engineering Services team.

What will you be bringing to the team?

In this role, you will be involved in a variety of testing engagements such as Web App, API, Internal/External etc. and you will be able to:

  • Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on a variety of systems, networks, and applications.
  • Perform testing engagements independently, with minimal support required, and act as a Lead for testing engagements when required.
  • Identify and exploit security vulnerabilities in a controlled and ethical manner.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique security requirements and tailor penetration testing strategies accordingly.
  • Provide detailed and actionable reports outlining vulnerabilities, risks, and recommended remediation strategies.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to continually enhance testing methodologies.
  • Mentor and guide junior penetration testers within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

Your experience, skillset and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward.

  • University/College degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or other relative discipline
  • Master’s Degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity or similar area will be considered a plus
  • At least 4 years of proven working experience in penetration testing, or relevant offensive security roles.
  • Code-review skills
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security controls.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, OSWE or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility to travel abroad (mainly EU countries, 5% of the working time)
