The Partner Development team at Cardlytics forms the bridge between our business and key publishers, financial institutions, and industry partners. We enable innovative loyalty experiences that drive value for our customers and partners alike. The team’s work directly fuels Cardlytics’ growth and market leadership, making a meaningful impact across our organization and within the industries we serve.

About the Position

As Senior Partner Development Director, you will be a senior relationship manager trusted with expanding and strengthening our partnerships with top publishers and financial brands. Your efforts will bring innovative loyalty solutions to market, amplify business performance, and represent our partners’ voices at every step. This role is critical to Cardlytics’ next phase of strategic growth, fostering collaboration and ensuring mutual success for Cardlytics and our partners.

You will:
  • Own relationships with large financial institutions and publishing partners, building and maintaining strong ties with senior stakeholders.

  • Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate partnership performance, continually optimizing based on data-driven insights.

  • Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of partnership agreements, amendments, renewals, and commercial terms, ensuring compliance with regulations and business best practices.

  • Partner with publishers on joint roadmaps and project milestones, and clearly communicate updates to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with product teams and publishers to understand customer needs and influence product development and prioritization.

  • Coordinate across engineering, marketing, product, and sales teams to integrate partner solutions and align with Cardlytics’ business objectives.

  • Develop business cases and partner proposals to drive new product adoption.

  • Stay up to date on market trends and emerging technologies to identify new partnership opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
     

You have:
  • 7-10 years with demonstrated experience managing senior client relationships within financial services, partnerships, or media/publishing.

  • A proven track record in structuring, negotiating, and executing complex partner agreements.

  • An analytical mindset, with strong KPI tracking and data-driven decision-making skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • The ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels of the organization.
     

You are:
  • A candidate with a depth of experience with digital loyalty, fintech, or media/publishing business models.

  • A candidate with a strong background in leading partnership development or sales teams in a high-growth environment.
     

Technical Environment

We primarily use macOS and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). While our preferred platform is macOS, we support both macOS and Windows. Familiarity with or willingness to work within this environment is required.
