Pivot Strategies is a communications consulting firm that helps organizations navigate complex change and transformation. We partner with some of the world’s most respected companies to strengthen alignment, clarify strategy, and drive successful adoption of new initiatives. Our team brings deep expertise in internal communications, organizational change management, and training, helping leaders connect strategy to execution in ways that drive clarity, alignment, and adoption.

Our values:

  • Lead with Honorable Intent: We act with humility, sincerity, and a commitment to doing what is right, even when uncomfortable or unseen. People can rely on us because we do what’s right, not what’s easy.
  • Aim Higher: We pursue excellence, stretching ourselves, elevating our game, and helping others rise with us. Better isn’t optional, it’s who we are.
  • Bring the Momentum: We are catalysts that spark clarity, drive alignment, and create the forward motion that projects need to succeed. Our presence elevates the room, and our impact carries teams toward the finish line.
  • Be the One That Delivers: We take full ownership, anticipating, executing, and delivering results that build confidence. We are the partners people count on when it matters most.

Job description:

We are looking for a seasoned, strategic, and hands-on Senior Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the OCM and Communications workstream lead on complex, enterprise transformation initiatives, owning both strategy and execution while partnering closely with executive stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption.

This role requires experience supporting large-scale programs that combine technology implementation, business process change, and operational transformation. You will translate complex, often ambiguous initiatives into clear, actionable change strategies that enable teams to move forward with confidence.

Our engagements span multiple workstreams, cross-functional stakeholders, and evolving requirements. Success in this role requires the ability to quickly assess complexity, establish structure, and drive momentum across teams. As the workstream lead, you will operate independently, advise senior leaders, facilitate alignment, and deliver high-quality outputs that drive results.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Serve as the OCM and Communications workstream lead, owning strategy, execution, and outcomes across complex transformation programs.
  • Advise executive sponsors and senior leaders on change risks, stakeholder alignment, and adoption strategies, bringing clear recommendations and actionable guidance.
  • Translate complex technology and operational initiatives into clear, concise communications, executive messaging, and actionable change roadmaps.
  • Establish structure and drive momentum in ambiguous environments by quickly assessing needs, aligning stakeholders, and moving work forward.
  • Design and deliver end-to-end OCM strategies, including change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement plans, communications, readiness planning, training strategy, and post-go-live reinforcement.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment sessions to clarify requirements, resolve concerns, and build shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Integrate OCM workstreams with PMO timelines, governance structures, and program milestones to ensure alignment with overall delivery.
  • Measure and communicate change effectiveness through adoption metrics, readiness indicators, feedback loops, and executive reporting.
  • Deliver high-quality, client-ready outputs while operating independently and maintaining accountability for results.
  • Take full accountability for workstream outcomes, ensuring OCM efforts directly support program success and business results.

Things to note:

This is a primarily remote position with periodic travel within the United States based on client engagement needs. While Pivot offers a flexible work environment, our flexibility is guided by the requirements of each client engagement, which may include occasional on-site collaboration with client teams.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.

  • Regular sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day to accomplish tasks
  • Frequent interaction with computers, colleagues, and clients

Pivot is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at all levels of our organization. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business needs. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment where all employees can thrive

Requirements

Why we’ll love you:

  • You bring 8–12+ years of experience leading organizational change within complex, matrixed enterprise environments, ideally in consulting or transformation-focused roles.
  • You have successfully led OCM workstreams for enterprise-scale transformations involving business process change and enabling technologies such as ERP, SaaS platforms, or enterprise systems.
  • You demonstrate strong executive presence and are confident advising, influencing, and challenging senior leaders.
  • You operate independently and take full ownership, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum without relying on direction or oversight.
  • You think strategically and execute tactically, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and deliver high-quality, client-ready outputs.
  • You bring strong business acumen and understand how technology, operations, and people intersect to drive business outcomes.
  • You are adaptable and self-directed, comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving requirements in fast-paced consulting environments.

Benefits

Why you’ll love us:

  • A modern, flexible workplace culture: We prioritize work-life balance with flexible schedules, remote work options, and generous PTO.
  • We invest in our team: We provide medical and dental benefits, a 401(k) with company match after 6 months of employment, profit-sharing benefits, life insurance, long and short-term disability options, and a budget for professional development reimbursement.
  • Opportunities to grow and lead: As we scale, we are looking for team members who want to shape our future, whether by building out new capabilities, leading a team, or refining best practices. We’ll support your personal and professional development every step of the way.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
