We are seeking a Oracle Development Lead — Procure-to-Pay (P2P) to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of AppZen’s Oracle Financials integrations.
This is a senior, hands-on role for an Oracle expert who operates at the intersection of product, engineering, and enterprise finance systems. You will architect scalable and reliable integrations between AppZen and Oracle environments, guide implementation best practices, and serve as the internal subject matter expert on Oracle Financials (AP).
You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless data flows, enterprise-grade architecture, and long-term scalability for our global customer base.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the Oracle Financials (AP) subject matter expert across the organization
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance integration architectures between AppZen and Oracle systems
- Lead hands-on configuration within Oracle Financials (AP) and Approvals Management
- Partner with Product Management to define Oracle-related requirements and contribute to PRDs
- Collaborate with Engineering on integrations, reports, conversions, and extensions
- Guide customers and internal stakeholders through requirements, solution design, testing, deployment, and optimization
- Develop and execute regression testing strategies for patches, enhancements, and configuration updates
- Provide architectural guidance aligned with enterprise integration best practices
- Stay current with Oracle Cloud Financials and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) capabilities
What We're Looking For:
- Applicants must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
- 3-5 years of experience implementing, integrating, and/or supporting Oracle Financials (AP)
- Deep expertise in Oracle Payables and Approvals Management
- 3 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Financials, including 2–3 full lifecycle implementations preferred
- Strong experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) highly preferred
- Experience designing enterprise integrations across ERP and SaaS systems
- Proficiency with SQL tools such as TOAD, SQL Developer, or SQL*Plus
- Understanding of enterprise architecture principles and data integration patterns
- AWS knowledge is a plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven with a commitment to implementation excellence and on-time delivery
