Develop and implement logistical strategies to ensure efficient transportation of fish from the port to distributors, retailers, and restaurants
Coordinate with logistics partners to limit errors and increase speed of getting product to customers
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of products
Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, and Marketing teams with clear, concise communication regarding orders and project timelines
Work closely with processing vendors to ensure customers get exactly what they ordered
Identify and mitigate the risks in our supply chain to improve daily operations
Manage workflows and projects from start to finish, informing key stakeholders in a timely manner
Identify inefficiencies in workflows and develop solutions to increase efficiency
Manage vendor relationships like processing, logistics, and packaging partners
Evaluate them on a regular basis to identify areas of improvement
Support cost optimization initiatives while keeping quality top of mind
Maintain and optimize internal databases and ERP systems to keep accurate inventory and costing
Work closely with engineering team to lead development of new tools and technologies that improve business processes, including things like dashboards and reports
2+ years experience in operating roles
Strong food industry knowledge
Must be comfortable making quick decisions with high levels of ambiguity
Hunger for high-intensity, high-quality, high-value work
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communicator with strong writing and verbal skills
